McDonald's — Restaurant in Harrisburg

Great service!😀 NOT TODAY!!! 12-16-21. Went to the drive-thru there wasn't that many people online at the time and the time was around 12:15 in the afternoon. I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese A large Coke and a large fry. The lady at the window told me to move up to the next window because they're making it fresh. I was hesitant to do that because they usually forget about you when they tell you to do that. But I said sure thank you very much and I pulled up to the last window where nobody was and and waited.... And waited... And waited... And waited some more... Still waiting.... Yep still waiting!........ Omg! Still waiting!..... When it was 20 minutes that have been waiting there I decided to lean over and knock on the window. Nothing! So I did that again...still nothing!

Then it started to get busy and a lady behind me was getting her stuff from the window behind me and when she got her stuff she just went forward as if to leave but then I was there blocking the way so now she couldn't back up because other cars were coming up to get their food so it caused a bit of a traffic jam.

Then the lady who hands you the food stuck her head out the window and looked forward at me and I heard her say what is that car up there for!? So finally somebody came up to the window where I was and said can I help you what are you waiting for? I said I went up to the window to get my food and a lady handed me my Coke and said please pull up to the next window and making you a food fresh, and I said to the lady and that was 20 minutes ago you can look at my receipt when I place the order. She said what did you order? So I told her again a quarter pounder with cheese large fry and a large Coke. She said anything special about it? And I said no just a quarter pounder with cheese large frying a large Coke. So I waited another 12 minutes and she came back and handed me my bag with the food in it and it was correct.

But I told the lady very nicely I said to her, the next time I come through here and somebody says to me please pull up while we make your order or pull into spot number one or two or three whatever it is I said to her I will decline and I will wait at the window because this always happens to me I always have to sit here and wait which I don't mind doing I understand it gets busy but then you forget about me! I counted 25 cars went through the line while I was sitting at that window waiting. And I had to get back to work I only had 30 minutes to eat! So I had to choke it down my throat on the way back to work!

What prompted this updated review was I had a notification come through my phone saying you at this McDonald's today and you said it was a great experience did it change or is it still great experience so I had to let everybody know that it changed! I know people have an off day but this happens to me all the time! It's still a great restaurant they still have good food and the food they gave me was piping hot which is never the case I always get cold food but I will still continue to go there I'm just letting you know my experience for today.

WORST service and the MOST CONFUSING logistics ever in drive thru ......DON'T order at this location. At 12:01am, after waiting in line for 20 min to pick up a doordash order at the Drive Thru (the order was already PAID) , we were asked to go pick up at the "2nd" window. Hence, we drove to the "Pick Up 2" window and NOBODY was there. My husband walked back to "Pick Up 1" and asked for the order and the lady said our order was not ready and we should continue to wait at "Pick Up 2".

10 min passed and 5 cars behind us have picked up their food and left, we were still waiting. My husband walked back again to "Pick Up 1" to ask for status. The "manager" Khalil, asked us to continue to wait in the car. At 12:12am, the "manager" Khalil came with the food and asked if we were ok. I told him we have waited in line for over 30min and he said everyone was waiting. But, I told him I saw 5 cars behind us have left even though they had ordered after us. The "manager" Khalil held back the food and asked if we wanted the food as he could not give me the food until I was calm. I told him it is not a question he should ask and I need him to hand me the food. At the end, we got the food after over a total of 32 min of wait. I wouldn't think McDonald's want to defame themselves by refusing to deliver their food/service already paid for. Is that considered fraudulent by state law? What kind of company would allow employee that kind of attitiude?

I went back to the store in the afternoon of June 30 and talked to the manager on duty, explained the whole situation. She was apologetic and she agreed the behavior of Khalil was completely bad reflection on their whole team working there.....she would talk to the General Manager about it. I filed official...

I visited this location with my daughter on February 11, 2022. At which time a representative for your company at the window gave me a melted Sunday and splashed it on my car and it also came within my car. she also attempted handing me a bag with my food that she incorrectly gave to the car in front of me. I watched as the driver in front of me looked in the bag and handed it back. Since the driver left so quickly she wasn't able to move the bag. I asked her (Anel) was that the same bag the driver just handed her back? She looked at me then the bag and said no. Whan I advised I saw the transaction she snatched the bag off of the counter and walkaway. Not before flinging a half melted caramel sundae at me. this ice cream splashed all over my car and in my car. I said ms. this is melted you have to make this over and I need napkins to clean up the mess. Anel said, it's not my fault I didn't make it. She then closed the window and walked away. I reached out and went to knock on the window do get someones attention and she finally came back with a stack of napkins. She also returned quickly with food. just switched bags (had a special order)she refused to provide her name also. Stated she wasn't the manager and closed the window once more. I have never been disrespected like this at any McDonald's and I frequent this location. For this behavior I will never...
