Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Harrisonburg

Good lord!! I have not been here in honestly like 2 decades! I had an urge for something sweet before heading home and so I googled and Bruster’s popped up! Checked out their menu and got hooked on 2 flavors! I ended up getting a waffle cone with a scoop of Black Raspberry Chocolate Chunk and Chocolate Raspberry Truffle!! Holy crap!! They are both so freaking delicious!!!! I’m not typically a hand dipped kinda gal but this was perfect! Soft and creamy! The Chocolate Raspberry Truffle was incredible! I’m super picky when it comes to chocolate ice cream. This combo was perfect!! I will absolutely be back very soon for those 2 flavors again! Went there today with my Aunt parked next to the fire zone was only there for a couple of minutes the young lady that waited on me proceeded to tell me that for future reference that's the fire zone don't park there park in a parking spot I explained to her that my aunt was handicapped and hard of hearing so I was just yelling the flavors back to her so she could choose what she wanted not only that but had there been a fire the car was running I could have moved it in plenty of time it takes the fire department 10 to 15 minutes or longer to show up so for future reference we will not be coming back to your business. I truly don't think that's the way to speak to your customers and you need to understand not all elderly people can walk...

Stopped here today with our 10 year old grandson. He's visiting us from out of state. He ordered a medium shake with Reese's Pieces in it while I ordered the Butterscotch shake. The lady working alone was very friendly to us both. She made my grandsons and within a minute he shared with me that "this is the best vanilla shake I have ever had in my life." I received mine and it was dang good for sure. It had been quite some time since I had been here. Thanks for the great ice cream. I also read a few reviews down and I saw the 1 star review where the person said the shakes at Kline's were much better.
