An incident occurred around 10:30 where a very drunk man, whoâd been there since 5pm. Took his shirt off at the bar, which he then put back on inside out. He was talked to by Charles after this incident. I donât know if he and the man were buddies but the drunk man acted like it. He then went to the bathroom a bit later. As he was walking into the bathroom a very nice server walked out and he yelled at her âDAMN youâre hot as hellâ. After he was done, Charles spoke with him again. However this time the conversation ended with a fist bump and the man saying sorry to Charles. SERIOUSLY?! NOT TO THE SERVER HE HARASSED! The man was then allowed to go sit at the bar??? I eventually asked to speak with Charles after about 5 minutes of watching this drunk guy hop around the bar. I asked Charles if the man was leaving any time soon. He said the he was dealing with it. I asked if I could call the cops for him or a taxi. Even offered to pay for it if it meant the server wasnât going to have to walk past him again while just doing her job. âWhy do the cops need to be involved?â He asked. I said âBecause he just harassed one of your servers, he is yelling and took his shirt off?â Charles asked what the man said. I repeated âDAMN you look hotâ while my husband repeated a similar phrase he misquoted. Charles asked me, rudely, âwell which was it?â I specified and He informed me that he had given him 20 minutes to finish the beer he had already paid for. I said I wasnât trying to cause trouble but that was unfair. He agreed and said he was dealing with it. My 15 minute timer is counting down the seconds until he leaves. With 9 minutes left to spare Charles walks over and escorts him out quietly. At the door the man stops. He and Charles have a conversation that had a total of three handshakes. In total it was about a 20 minute interaction, but it shouldâve stopped before he even got the chance to harass her. He shouldâve been cut off and given water or told to leave when he was yelling and being disruptive. I was hoping by telling the manager my thoughts, it would implore him to move the situation along. As a person who has worked in customer service for a while, I understand customer experience comes first. Sometimes even to the detriment of the employees. However, as the manager on duty, his staff should be able to trust him to fight battles when they cannot. He gets paid more to do so. Disappointed with tonightâs events. Any other place wouldâve had him kicked out long before all of this. Also, one of the servers mentioned that the drunk man had previously been...
Read moreIf I was able to leave a worse rating i would. I just had lunch at the Harrisonburg Bdubs. It is 10/6/2016 1:50PM. I have never had worse service in a restaurant than this. The bartender Anna was slammed. She was unable to assist all of her guests at the same time. She had a full bar and a 3 table section and did a pretty good job of keeping everyone satisfied at first but as more people came in her service got worse (which is not her fault). This review is in no way a reflection of her. When she had the time to come to assist us she was very attentive and got everything right, the problem was that she was overwhelmed and had no help. This is where I am absolutely shocked. The management staff was offering her no assistance at all either. My friend and I both worked in the industry previously and we both know when the bartender is that slammed, a manager needs to jump in and help. There were two of them standing together watching her struggle. Teamwork makes the dream work, and it appears they were on another team. She was clearly doing everything to the best of her ability and instead of helping her they took her to the kitchen and when she came back she was clearly upset (a manager probably told her she was doing a bad job). The poor placement and recognition of managers caused a good bartender to crash and burn today. A good staff can be ruined by bad management, unfortunately it looks like this place has some...
Read moreAlright, real talk, this reviee pertains to this location, not the chain as a whole.
The Good: Food tasted amazing. I requested buffalo dry seasoning on my potato wedges and they FRIED it in when cooking, instead of just shaking. 10/10 SUPERB! Service was great! Could have stopped by once or twice more, but still, on a busy night it was good enough. 8/10
The Bad: I understand this happens sometimes, but 2/3 of the items I ordered were very cool, almost cold. So I imagine they were made first and then brought out at the same time as everyone else's food. My colleagues all had warm food so I didn't mention anything about it. 2/10
I'm a grease-hater, and it felt like they barely wiped the table down (at least thoroughly) as there was leftover chicken bits on the sides. The table adjacent of us was vacant for 90 seconds, was cleared and wiped briefly then another party sat down, so not sure they're really doing much other than seating distance and wearing masks and menus different for COVID times. 3/10
Overall: I'll definitely go back again! I'm less inclined to eat in though and just order online as I normally do though, not broken on dine-in seating though.
P.S. The Carolina Reaper flavor tastes amazing, but messes up your stomach as any really spicy food does. Awesome for a group appetizer for fun though! Definitely not your...
