HIDDEN GEM ALERT* Looking for something new... full of flavor..... great atmosphere.... and the owner and his wife are so welcoming! Presentation of the food was amazing and let me tell you when you sink your teeth into that Steak w/ Onions..... OMG! I don't eat steak from every where because some do not know how to make it correctly, but BABY.... the Steak w/ Onions melted in my mouth so full of flavor with a nice gravy to it! Even the white rice that was served with it was flavorful..... I had that with the wet red beans w/ potatoes and even those were to die for!!! I can not complain about one thing at all. And I also had the Empanada (Beef) they did not skimp on the meat and that had a mouthful of flavor as well!! I regret not ordering a few of them to take home lol. They also have a wide variety of other things to chose from like bar favorites and even have some smoked and grill options available at times. When you walk in there the atmosphere will give you I am somebody vibes. He also is open for hosting events and special occasions. From the moment we walked into Pops bar and grill , we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The rustic decor and cozy ambiance made for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. We started with the [beef empanadas], which was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. For our mains, I had the [White rice and beans with fried pork peices], which was absolutely divine, and my partner raved about the [white rice and beans with a fried pork chop w tostones]. The [garlic shrimp] was a delightful complement to both dishes. And the drinks were amazing. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, and the staff were happy to answer our questions about the menu and explain what sauces were.
