Dined in here for dinner around 930/10pm on 12/19 and it was an absolutely awful experience. I went with a couple friends and one of my friends didn't get their food until the rest of us were almost finished, which we had to flag the waitress down to remember the food, and my food had the wrong side added. We didn't complain about this, we figured the waitress might just be having a bad day, whatever. We gave a 20% tip even after the service. When we left I noticed I forgot my wallet in the booth, I called them immediately for them to say they couldn't find it. There is literally NOWHERE else my wallet would be, there were many witnesses that saw me pull my wallet out in front of the waitress for a drink even. Conveniently there are no cameras. The only person seen at the booth from the time we left to close was the waitress. When I asked the manager to question the staff about my wallet she responded that they have worked there for a long time. This means NOTHING to someone desperate enough. This establishment is of liars and thieves as far as I'm concerned. I will change this review if my wallet is returned. This order tb#514 not only was missing a side salad, extra celery with wings ( no celery came accually). But on the $65 order my sons quesadilla there was a used mayonnaise packet half stuck to the bottom of his meal. Now the management has stated they will comp me via mail/email for the first two times and I've received nothing. This time [12 min ago] the manager said they will for sure make sure it happens. Now after ordering, waiting 40 mins, waiting another 10 due to back up. Then having the meal not complete or right the first time, it begins to loose my interest to support this local franchise. Again the staff are nice and seem they want to help, but they need to get the kitchen and bagging personnel correct soon.

As I headed to the bar to pick up my food, Andrea, the manager greeted me with a smile and asked me if I had an order to pick up. I told her I did but that chips and salsa werenāt online for order. (My youngest is GF, so this is her go to favorite snack and weāre disappointed that we couldnāt order online.) As she went to quickly add those to my order the sweet gal behind the bar convinced me (wink, wink) to try a new drinkā¦didnāt have time to drink it there so she suggested I take it to go!! My kids and I had some take out during, movie night at home, and I also had a drink to relax! Perfect!!! Our family loves the whole crew at the Applebeeās in Hastings!!!
