I visit this Dunkin’ quite often, being it is the only coffee shop I know of in town that makes Macchiato’s. I love the iced macchiato’s at Dunkin’, it’s just incredibly unfortunate that it’s never made the same way. I don’t know if people are all trained differently or what, but I definitely feel there needs to be more universal training for the staff so people consistently get what they are expecting and paying for. The staff here have always been kind to me, however, there’s a handful that just do not listen when you order. I’ve gotten to the point where I will not go in or order through the drive thru if possible, rather I will just order online, and pick it up because then I at least know my order MIGHT be right. I’ve had the best success this way. Also, why is it that when I order my large iced macchiato, half the time it’s over full and leaking out of the lid, the other half the time it’s 3/4 full and seems like they decided to choose on their own how much espresso to put in it.... consistency, please!
I also want to note that it would be helpful for consumers and likely bring in more orders if you would add the donut types/flavors to the options when ordering in the app. If you go into the store they have a ton, on the app to order online there’s is maybe 4/5 options it seems.
Ps. Blueberry muffins from this location right away in the morning are AMAZING warmed with...
Read moreSadly, every time I've gone to this location they get my order wrong. Today was no different, except I tried to give back the wrong items(4-donuts) they said "keep them, we'll get the right ones" They gave me the 4 correct ones and I left. When I got home, I noticed they charged me extra for the corrected items on top of the mistakes.
When I handed them my card, they said 7.45 or so. My card was charged for over 10.00. Now, I'm more than willing to pay for my items, but why tell me to keep things that I not only didn't ask for, but my family won't eat. Also bugged me that they didn't tell me about the extra charge, but they also must store cc info in their machine to do this. Again, my receipt says 7.something at the time I handed over my card, but later they increased the price.
Usually the person taking the order through drive thru is not friendly & obviously doesn't listen cause it sounds like the same lady each time. I've tried going in store instead of drive thru, but doors hardly open on weekday mornings, when I've gone.
The 2 stars are for window & counter staff. The window staff & few times I've been in the counter staff are sweet & helpful. Usually high school kiddos, which I'll note they're all sweet, but seem flustered & overwhelmed.
Charged for their mistakes, unhappy order taker in drive thru...every time and donuts all taste the same are reasons I'll...
Read moreKeep driving. There are several things wrong with this place. Employees on the headset in the drive thru only half listen. I have a simple order when I visit, and for some reason they cannot seem to hear the one item I order without asking me to repeat or start over. THEN I pull around to the window and for some reason they NEVER follow the items listed on the receipt. AND this is with repeating my order a couple times. If there are cars behind you or in front of you, good luck, you're probably getting the wrong item. I have called and spoken with the manager. During this phone call he talked over me and did not actually listen to what I was trying to explain.
I am a reasonable consumer, I have even worked fast food and coffee shops before. I cannot understand why this happens on a regular basis. This place is in need of new management bad. I have tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I will never go back to this location. I would rather drive out of my way or stop at a local gas station for coffee.
Honestly, if you like getting random items you did not order or PAY for, this is the place for you.
Lastly, I would rate this establishment...
