Casa Jalisco Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Hattiesburg

Let me start by saying the food was great! So fulfilling BUT I was in town shopping for my bridesmaids dresses with my bridal party, there was 9 of us.. they tried to squeeze us together on 2 tables that sit 8 ppl.. we were on top of each other.. I had to ask to move to a longer table with more seats because we didn't have any elbow room let alone room for all of our food.. it took them a little while but they finally moved us.. delivered our food all was good.. noone checked on our party at all the entire time we were there.. I had to flag the waitress down for our ticket.. we all paid separately and had cash to leave a tip.. they took a 17 percent tip out of all of our tickets which really ticked me off because she would have gotten better with the cash tips we were originally going to leave.. because they decided to take it out themselves we didn't leave a cash tip.. not that they really deserved it anyway... but the food was delicious so I let it slide and didn't complain.. won't be visiting this place again though.....

The food is good. I ordered a $40 to go order and it was good, but they did not give me salsa with the chips. I called back and they said they were closed 15 minutes before the time advertised. I called back at 9:15 and the one girl who acts like a manager said they were closed. It is good but may need a different lead person in charge. She is a waitress, bartender, and kind of talks down to the others working there. I get it, but treat the other employees with respect and ya got to have salsa with a big order. I will be back, and may let her know myself. The food was good, but you have to have the best of both worlds when it comes to food...

This was by far the worse Mexican food we’ve ever had. We stopped by on our way back from Jackson based on the good reviews. The salsa had no flavor. We ordered fajitas with corn tortillas and the tortillas were full of grease and had black spots from being cooked on a dirty skillet. When I asked why the tortillas looked all greasy and dirty, I was told they can’t order their regular tortillas anymore and this is the way the new ones come. This is the first Mexican restaurant I’ve been to that doesn’t make their tortillas from scratch. My husband ordered the orchata and it tasted like peptobismol. Please don’t eat here,...
