PJ's Coffee — Restaurant in Hattiesburg

I frequently visit this coffee shop, and I have to express my disappointment with the consistent presence of a customer's dog. It's unsettling that the establishment allows this, as it compromises cleanliness. My kids have allergies to dogs, and we have to leave every single day because of the allergies we get. It's inconsiderate and rude, especially considering it's not a service dog. Another couple also expressed discomfort with the presence of the dog. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly for the well-being of all customers, especially kids. UPDATE I'm updating this review mostly to counter the response above. While I appreciate your perspective on the matter, it's essential to consider that allergies can be triggered by airborne particles and not direct contact. Look, it's not rocket science. Having a dog in such tight quarters is just plain inconsiderate. I don't care if the dog is quiet and well-behaved; it's still a pet, not a human. The seating arrangement is so cramped that it's like playing Russian roulette with allergies. Maybe some of us don't want to risk using an epipen just because someone can't bear to be without their precious furball.

Comparing kids to dogs is absurd. Last time I checked, children don't shed fur and dander that can trigger allergic reactions. So, spare me the false equivalencies. If the coffee shop wants to cater to dog owners, fine, but they should also consider the comfort and health of those who don't want to share their space with animals. My husband and I had been looking forward to trying this place for the first time. We stopped by, masked up and went in to try it. NO ONE was in there and we weren’t greeted at all. Stood there and waited patiently and the young lady was fixing a drive thru order, she looked at me, kinda rolled her eyes, but NEVER greeted us.. We waited for 5 minutes, no greeting and decided to leave and go patronize another coffee shop. Highly disappointed because we really wanted to try it .

I come in here all the time, came from New Orleans where I grew up and this place has gone down hill fast. I used to love this establishment and I’d sit in here all the time, however I began to notice just how hostile of an environment it is. They don’t treat their fellow employees with respect you can tell by the way some of them treat each other not to mention there’s this one girl who works there’s this shorter brown haired girl that every time I have come in to order in the past she always has an attitude and I usually get a Carmel machiatto and she NEVER makes it right or she gets her co workers to do all the work. I don’t complain usually but I don’t think I’ll be returning to this store.
