Gypsea Gelato — Restaurant in Hawaii

This was my second time here. This time there was no line ahead of me thankfully! We got 3 flavours in an extra large cup, the lilikoi, for the love of chocolate and kona coffee. All three of these were delicious! The kona coffee was excellent and not bitter like it tends to be sometimes!The helpings are HUMONGOUS! There are some gelato places I've been to that could learn more about serving sizes from these guys! It was a warm day and it literally started pouring because it was melting so quickly! We had to gobble it up really fast though! Because they close at 9 we had dessert first because we wouldn't have been able to have dinner then come here!

I walked here to try and and digest my dinner. I loved their different flavors. They even had Tom Kha! No I didn't try it :( I did have the mac nut which was delicious but I wish they could add real nuts to it. I also had Pele's kiss which was chocolate with Red chili and cinnamon! If chocolate is not your thing, then I can't help ya here bud. I guess they have other flavors too, but you'd be doing your taste buds a disservice.

It was really good gelato. Not maybe as good as direct in Italy, but you know, 99/100 ain't too shabby.

Side note: they still do COVID stuff here: there's them 'stay 6ft apart' circles outside and they only let one person in at a time. So that brought back some neat memories I had almost...
