Gyro King — Restaurant in Hawaii

Girlfriend and I went for a short lunch break while in the area. She got the chicken gyro plate, I got the "Big Fat Greek" plate, and we got the falafel plate to share. My plate was absolutely delicious, but both my girlfriend's and the share plate were terribly dry and ill seasoned. On top of dishes being incredibly hit and miss, the customer service provided by the woman at the window was particularly rude. It was clear she had a great disdain for her job, and thusly anyone ordering. With the prices charged, you can have either mediocre food, or terrible service, you can't have both. If the window worker were replaced, or changed her attitude, I would return promptly for another gyro! Also, funny note unrelated to quality or service, their signage uses an excessive amount of the verbage "World's Best" and I counted the phrase "high-end" about four times on their posters, twice in one sentence even! Bold claims to make when there are so many wonderful gryo joints...

Just reviewing the Greek salad (with shrimp). Pros: huge portion, came with a ton of shrimp. Cons: mostly only the white part of the romaine lettuce was included in mine, the dressing was clearly store bought (and not very good), there were very few toppings on it other than the shrimp (2 olives, very light feta), and the tzakiki it came with was also disgusting (again, definitely a store bought version that was clearly not fresh). We stopped here for dinner after a long day of traveling. The woman who helped us was very sweet. She answered my mom's (who is very allergic to seafood) questions about what food was cooked on what grills. Chicken and Shrimp are for sure cooked separately. I forgot to order a lemonade ($5 for 1), so when I went back up, the woman at the stand gave me my lemonade and was gracious enough to cover the change I would have had to pay left over (.21).
