As has happened to just about everyone, my wife needed to use the bathroom urgently while we were exploring the Kona, HI area. We saw McDonald's, and stopped. My wife ran inside and asked for the necessary bathroom code. The gentleman working the counter said she needed to buy something first. She had to run back outside to get cash for something cheap; yes, a hassle, but that's not the real problem. The problem was that upon making a purchase and receiving the requested code, the manager lady told her the bathroom was closed as she and another employee excited the bathroom. No explanation. My wife desperately needed to pee and hurried back outside to tell me about it as she's about to burst. I rushed in and urgently demanded the use of a bathroom on my wife's behalf. The same manager lady then told me the bathroom would be dark. I said I don't care, she has a flashlight. Whatever it takes. Just then another employee walks out of a lighted women's room. Caught the manager in a lie, and why would she even lie about it? It makes no sense. She then caved and allowed my wife to use the bathroom. My wife says the bathroom was lighted and in fine shape. No reason to close a bathroom. Everything was dry too. It wasn't like it was in the process of being cleaned. There was no evidence or mention of plumbing issues. I can't think of a legitimate reason to keep a paying customer from using the bathroom. What is the manager hiding? At least the vanilla cone was normal, but I don't recommend this restaurant because they have terrible management and customer service. They also haver no problem lying to...
Read moreFirst off the woman that took my order and took my payment was RUDE as hell. There was a truck that was SO LOUD behind me I could barely hear her on the speaker and I know forsure she couldnt hear me because she got my order wrong for my 6 yr old daughters happy meal. Gave her a large fruit punch when she needed a small. At the window when I went to pay she also gave attitude because I told her "what was that?" After she told me something and the truck behind me was SO loud, she then got bothered and rudely said the total and gave me a dirty look. I gave her my card and just kept eye contact with her. As Im watching, I see her and her coworker who was getting the order put together miscommunicating and she was even giving attitude towards her. I tried fixing the drink order but it was too late because they already made it. So now that I am home. I open up my #3 thats suppose to be a double and its a regular quarter pounder AND I was charged for it. Then my fries are so overcooked, they are all dark and crunchy, i threw most of out and ate what I can that was salvaged. I did not call them because I dont even want to deal with that lady in the drive thru again. So damn rude. If you are having a bad day learn to keep it at home. Check your tempermant just because someone asks for clarification and cant hear you over the loud truck that was directly behind them. Didnt even bother to have any enthusiasm at all. Smile and you would...
