Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Hawaii

First time here. Giving it a try since I walked past this place lots of times and was looking for a Mexican fast food restaurant other than Taco Bell. So anyway, I tried the Steak Nachos and Chicken Quesadilla. This place has a choice of Steak,Chicken, or ground beef. They also have a vegetarian version, substituting tofu for their meat offerings. The Steak Nachos were great, and the Chicken Quesadilla was good too. Guacamole is available, but is an extra cost. Would be great if it was free,but cant have everything in life. They also have complementary chips and salsa, with the salsa being available at a self-serve salsa bar. The only drawback about eating here on this day was the fact that the soda fountain was out of service,which results in me not giving this place 5 stars. Other than that the food was great for a fast food restaurant. Hope to go back another day and try the other items...

Probably the worse moes weve ever been to. We were excited to be near a moes again, so we drove to the otherside of the island to eat there, it was our first time in 8 years. No one said welcome to moes, they stood around talking to one another instead. The girls refused to speak louder, I can hear incredibly well, and I couldn't hear the worker. When I told her i couldn't hear her she spoke even softer, and laughed. An older woman came up behind us and also had to tell them she couldnt hear them several times, they did nothing to make themselves louder. They are capable of speaking at an audible volume though, because when the next person came on shift they yelled hey loudly, and then we could hear their convo from where we were sitting on the other side of the restaurant. Absolutely terrible service. When you order a burrito or a bowl, you are supposed to receive a separate bag of chips per Moe’s policy. This is the little tiny bag of chips that I got for two joey’s and a bowl plus a side of queso. Absolutely unacceptable. Whoever was in charge of this shift, needs to take a serious look at their employees and retrain them. Yes, I selected that I wanted chips and salsa for every entrée. I specifically requested a separate full-size bag of chips for each burrito. Food looks nasty as well. Terrible presentation.
