RC Kona — Restaurant in Hawaii

Oh boy - where to start. Alessandra (hope I spelled that right!) was absolutely wonderful when we happened to wander in to RC this afternoon. My wife and I were poking around town and saw the butcher sign which piqued our curiosity, leading us straight into RC.

Their selection of proteins was incredible and, with my wife and I both having been in restaurants for a time, we were floored. There was a huge offering and Alessandra was super knowledgeable about the product. We ended up getting New Yorks for dinner this evening which were palate-meltingly delicious.

We also grabbed some sandwiches for lunch which we enjoyed as soon as we got back. The Italian was a sandwich I simply couldn’t refuse.

Thank you for being in Kailua-Kona. We will absolutely be in again when we have the opportunity and would recommend anyone looking for premier quality protein or a stellar sandwich to pay this...

This place is Ono. I heard about it from a friend and went to check it out (I'm obsessed with sandwiches). I was greeted by Grace and Alessandra (sp? sorry). We didn't know what to get and they gave us samples and recommended options based on our likes.

We got two sandwiches and they were HUGE (could have shared one) and SO GOOD. We walked to the ocean and ate them. Perfect afternoon (and it didn't break the bank).

Lastly, we had their cheesecake and it was incredible. They were quick to shout out the person who makes it (I don't remember off of the top of my head), but it was amazing. We have the name saved for our wedding cake (not kidding, so fricken good).
