My wife and I are retired and just love the entire experience of eating at Blue Plate Cafe. This is a family owned business , and this family has been doing this a long time. The food is great, they have a daily special , and a very dedicated customer base. The staff makes your dining experience a very genuinely great time. We go multiple times every week, and are treated like family. I love the food, portions are great, great value for breakfast or lunch, and they have a dynamite breakfast until 10:50 am, then they switch to lunch menu only but that is easy to remember. They make all their own soups and the cook is one of the owners too. They all are spectacular, and I love supporting a local great restaurant. Great parking, and when they are really busy, it is usually just a few minute wait, so don’t be discouraged, it is worth a short wait during those times. Always had bfast here, tried lunch... Did not disappoint! Add some avocado and jalapenos to one of their sandwiches and it was excellent... I also tried the broccoli soup... It was a bit thin but packed with flavor.... On this day they had a large assortment of house made pies and one cool thing I found were the amount of side dishes available.... Place is unique and a must try!

Side note, if you are a coffee drinker and like flavored creamer... This place has an amazing selection, also themed salt and pepper shakers... I asked passing by server... Do you have these for every holiday... Simple reply, you should see our storage area😅

Blue Plate isn't fancy... But it's very good and honestly between the food and service... Fancy is overrated This place...

One of the best places that I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. The service is beyond excellent, the food is always prepared faster than you would expect.

They always make it the way you want it rather than how some places just want to give it to you (no pun intended) Their way.

Just can’t say enough good things about this place. The Homestyle potatoes are to die for. They use the good bacon not the cheap stuff. The omelettes are heaven and again anyway you want them. Even the condiments are like what you would have at home, Not your typical restaurant Cisco packaged stuff.
