The young kids working were nice and polite, that's not where we had the problems. The food we were given was old, and had been sitting in the warming try for quite awhile. Nothing was fresh. What should have been a quick stop for dinner turned into an hour long ordeal. We got home, she the food, called and complained to the manager. She was rude, and said they were busy. We get that, it was 6 pm. Then she said that she didn't like the assumption that the food was old, no mistake about it, so was the cooking oil. You could taste how stale it all was. We try back, 7 miles each way, the manager won't come out and talk to us. She ran and hid, had an experienced young woman come do a refund, since the food was not going to be eaten. The manager had her do it in an incorrect way, and it ended up charging me again. So I had to go back in, hadn't left the lot. We ask to have it corrected, the manager see us and goes, 'now what?' The girl explains, manager yells a curse word and disappears again, about 10 mins later, she gets both transactions voided. I have no issues with any of the young employees there. It is all on the manager, while waiting to get refunded the employees had issues with at least 3 other orders. Some had made it home as well. So after an hr or longer and driving 28 miles total we still had no food. We are done with this location. Not the first issue, but this manager needs more training and to learn to take responsibility and not hide and make the young people deal with...
Read moreEvery single time I have ordered door dash from there and the couple times I have gone inside all of our blizzards get all mixed up. Tonight I tried again being hopeful since it was our night with the kids away but they mixed both of our orders up. Strawberry would be a happy accident to some but for me I am allergic (not horribly just enough to itch) so it wasn't ideal. I have gone to the store to get it fixed before but somehow they have even screwed up while I am right there. The kids are all very nice and friendly and the stores always clean however I spend a lot on Doordash to get an ice cream I can't eat. I ordered fries tonight to dip in but the boat they come in wasn't even close to being filled up. I could count how few fries there were. The fries were very fresh and perfectly salted but 10 fries was hardly worth 5 bucks. They have argued with me that brownies were in my last blizzard when there wasn't. I think they over blend them if thats the case and you get no good chunks with the flavors all blended. This also makes your ice cream very melted, would never be able to turn over the cup there! Iwill drive to post falls dairy queen...
Read moreI went through Dairy Queen's drive-thru the other day and watch them take a burger stick it in the microwave and then put it back on the grill. So today I went by and asked the manager about it. She explained to me that they call it boosting to melt the cheese and yes they do microwave all of their burgers. She also told me that Wendy's and McDonald's do the same thing. So I talked to managers at both Wendy's and mcdonald's, one was actually a district manager. And they told me absolutely not. They do not microwave your burgers. So the manager thought if she slandered other large chains that it would justify what they are doing. I think anybody that ever gets a burger at Dairy Queen should know that it is being microwaved for you. And they will lie to you about it being common practice. I sincerely hope that McDonald's and Wendy's actually file a lawsuit against Dairy Queen for slander. That is disgusting and no Burger chain should ever microwave a hamburger. That is disgusting. Choose your fast...
