McDonald's — Restaurant in Hays

Stopped in to get a snack at McDonald's on our way home.

Drive thru was easy. The hot and spicy snack was worth it after delayed flights. How does one even review McDonald's anymore of these days I've eaten at McDonald's and airport on the road in my hometown and in many other places yet they all seem to be about the same there's nothing new there's nothing different they're the only thing different is how big the play area is and how nasty it can be, no I like McDonald's. McDonald's has a consistency that no other restaurant has due to its large stores and with large volume of sales. Among the favorite foods that McDonald's has as a Happy meal they need to have adult Happy meal with adult toys I mean for crying out loud we're getting older and we want adult toys maybe not those kinds of adult toys but grown up toys for yes stop laughing people it's not that funny. Grown up toys grown up toys in Happy meal I mean I wouldn't mind having like some Star wars stuff for like grown up things like maybe you know something cool just sometime the Happy meal toys was just really are low quality I remember back in the '80s and the '90s some of the toys were the bomb. Substantial toys were nice Christmas toys and holiday toys and movie toys oh wait toy is the movie not funny I said hahaha not not funny. How do you review McDonald's other than complaining about their Happy meal toys. I've been all over the country and I've eaten at McDonald's and I can't say that any place of any different now if I go to another country there's expected to be far better food than what the US has just look at some of the menus there when Japan and Europe and all kinds of other places far better food yet McDonald's don't shove down that fructose syrup. We all know that the soda flavors are way different than they are sold in stores which is the reason why people like McDonald's. We all know their world famous fries are because they're proven and flash cooked beforehand yet no other place ever seems to get it right McDonald's will always have among the best five except for the place that has curly fries those are really damn good I mean you can't go wrong with curly fight McDonald's get it yourself together and get some curly pipe I even would like some tater tot or whatever the other grungy type things are even McDonald's hash browns or extremely good too maybe lower calorie options like rutabaga or something up other than that sweet potato or something I don't know you come up with something McDonald's...

Placed order with little difficulty, cashier refused to get iced tea from food side of counter. Asked for the iced tea from non-lobby dispenser because as constant travelers we have encountered so many of the lobby tea dispensers have a foul flavor, old liners or poorly maintained tea service as a whole. Thus, I now ask to have the staff fill my drink. You would swear I committed a crime! This cashier pointed to the lobby and said the tea is over there. Restated my request. She stated that it's the same tea. Maybe so. Maybe not. However I am tired of getting nasty tea and having to ask for them to refill it, or worse get miles down the road before tasting and regretting not tasting. I was polite in my request. It wasn't until I was informed more than once where the tea was and that it was the same tea. The drive thru dispensers seem better maintained. Times like this is when I prefer the kiosks. What happened to the service part of customer service and satisfaction? It wasn't until she was rude to us did we ask for the manager. The Manager was disturbed by the request, but we explained it carefully. He seemed to understand but still lacked attention to the situation. This location has been notorious for rude staff and I quit stopping here. Guess I will continue to frequent the other franchises down the road. Although the tea was one of the best I have had today, the hassle...

Well never go back had to pull out off drive thru for meal 5mins for lunch. Then told I had to wait another 3 went up to cashier some old lady said no lunch until menu changes but when I was up there ordering she went behind a group of young men ask them what they were going to have lunch or breakfast found out what breakfast they wanted she made a point that they got served when the menu was going to be changing while I was in line I feel it was discrimination and then I was told I had to wait one more minute because the menu hadn't changed they should have been told I'm sorry our breakfast has been stopped serving all you have is lunch if you're going to do service for one you need to do it for all I am tired anymore in this society of taking care of the young and screwing us old folks there is fair if I'm told I have to wait they could have waited until morning I'm just highly upset and brought it up to the management this is why it's horrible and to boot my lunch was freaking cold the burgers were cold ketchup was a mess all over inside outside unbelievable and they were specially ordered so there shouldn't have been any reason for burgers being cold...
