I am normally a true die-hard fan of Wendy's (as one might note from my previous posts), however, there is something seriously wrong with this particular location.
It seems as though this location is poorly ran. It's service is slow and it's ALWAYS running out of small important items (which combining these issues, indicates to me that there is either a management opportunity, or an ownership (franchisee) compliance issue.
It seems odd that this location has always a line of customers with one (of only two) registers open and it appears that no one working can multi-task. They complete one order including delivery before taking the next order from the waiting Que Line. 15 minute order times appear to be the norm at this location and not the exception (which is unheard of from the corporate restaurant operating on Central Avenue, in Riverside.
My most recent teeth pulling experience occurred when I ordered a 4 for $4 combo. I was charged $5.00 for what appeared to be the same meal.
In addition to my long wait times in ordering process, I wasn't told that the restaurant had run out of ice for the included soda. I had to ask why my soda was warm (Dr. Pepper tastes nasty warm.)
Who runs out of ice in December and why wasn't I informed prior to her dispensing to me my soda? (Which by the way, on Central Avenue in Riverside, they offer a customer initiated, self service, soda dispensing machine, with the added optional benefit of being able to dispense and consume my favorite, Dave's Drinks)
What is up with the $5.00 up-charge for a $4.00 meal, No Ice, Long Lines, and the habit of running out of certain basic condiments, etc.?
It is no shick that all of the other restaurants within the area, on this very busy street, have long lines of people wrapping around their buildings within their drive-thrus but this restaurant does not.
It's sad to see such an Amazing Company Store run so poorly. Even though I work directly across the street, and U originally was truly elated to note the proximity of this restaurant to my workplace.
I am becoming very resistant to returning to this Wendy's, as my lunch break is being consumed by lackluster efforts to speed up service, and additional stops I am needing to make in order to get a COLD drink, and also having to buy additional condiments (at the .99 store across the street), coupled with being overcharged a Dollar, it truly has become a less than mindful choice for me.
I'm to perceive that from my very frequent and past experiences at other Wendy's licatiins, that this particular restaurant needs a serious overhaul in it's management (possible ownership) structure, with some added enhanced training programs for its employees.
The food served, as always, (besides not having the requested condiments for my chicken nuggets) was AMAZINGLY warm and fresh, and even at the overcharged price of $5.00, it was still a...
Read more10/14 Had an awful encounter with Jaden. Went to Wendy’s to get dinner with my Dad. Pulled up to the drive through and my Dad ordered our meals. Then the employee said he’d be right back. Waited about 10 minutes and then we said, Hello, did you leave?. To which we were replied with, “ I don’t know what you want!” And my dad said I can repeat the order. So he did repeat it. And the employee said he still didn’t know what we wanted. Pulled up to the window to speak in person. And the employee repeated our order back to us. So my Dad said, oh so you did hear my order you had me repeat 2 times. The employee began to raise his voice again, and my Dad asked if someone else could just help us instead. The employee began raising his voice again, saying he was actually the manager. Then another employee came and said he’d help us. He apologized to us for his coworkers inappropriate behavior. He said we’re the 3rd customer that he had been rude to. He said he was going to be telling their higher ups about this because it was not okay. He said he’d give us something free for the terrible encounter. Which he did. He gave us an extra soda, fries, and nuggets. Which was kind. But I didn’t want anything for free. I wanted to be treated with respect and I wasn’t. I’m not trying to be yelled at, for just ordering my dinner. I don’t know if he was having a bad night or what the case was. But his behavior was inexcusable. If he hates dealing with people, then maybe don’t have a job in customer service. So just be careful if you come here. You might have the misfortune of...
Read moreWas not happy with my visit first time in a year that I've been there. They acted like they were doing me a favor to be open and maybe they were I should have left nothing went right the girl that was operating there should have went home to have been a better representative the company not to have been there she had no idea how to do things she couldn't answer questions she no idea the prices when you couldn't find it on the menu someone else had to take over her duties she had no sense of humor she's probably what made it a terrible night there had a hard time getting condiments I asked for sweet and sour sauces for my chicken they acted like I was stealing from them when I ask for more I like to dip it in my fries it tastes good with it on. They wanted to charge to refill a Coke because it was extra large? What's going on here at Wendy's is it management or is it lack of training from management to their people that work their customers always right no matter how wrong they are. And no senior discount I deserve respect at my age I'm 70 maybe I need 20% discount to put up with them haha I don't think that I will come back to them again I used to go there three times or four times a week before the virus because I love their Frosty's their...
