First time coming in and they definitely made an impression. So coming in we were greeted we gave them our name and told us ten minutes for a table perfect we sat and waited .Almost right on 10 minutes we got taken to our table the restaurant looked busy but there was a few tables empty and looked like there was a good amount of servers going up and down our area. Tables next to us arrived after us and got there orders for drinks and food taken well we were trying to be patient we were excited to try a new place and we were having a little date night so didn't want anything to ruin it welp 20 minutes later after being sat no one came near us to get our drink order even so at this point I told my boyfriend lets just go somewhere else we had reservations to be some where after dinner and we came in with enough time we thought and at this point if it took this long for them to even come to the table i can imagine the rest of the service would be this way well my boyfriend wanted to still give them a chance so he finally got someone's attention and asked who was our waiter and the young man wasn't sure but he went to tell his manager or supervisor im guessing and she was friendly and apologetic and took our drink order and food order i mean by this time we knew what we wanted got our drinks and maybe 20 minutes more then our food granted it was meats so maybe thats why the wait . The food it self was good i ordered a calm chowder yummy but they didnt even offer salted crackers which any where ive had soup they offer thoses and the prime rib and my boyfriend got the bbq ribs and tri tip ,very flavorful and portions were good just perfect. Might i add there horse radish was delicious i know its not for everyone but i loved it then with my meal it came with a pie cookie thing and we weren't finished with our meal but since I've seen there timing and attention i ordered when the manager came by again and sure enough 20 minutes more for the cookie that was good but im sure it doesn't take that long but the server that was assigned to us once they realized we were there came after the manager had came didn't seem to make sure we were taken care of after the bad start they had . The manager was nice but after she let our server know the situation I would assume you'd try to make sure everything was good and she definitely didn't but to "try " and make things good the manager gave us two coupons for a free cookie for when we come in next time and spend $14.99 well the food was good but for the service im not sure if we will be back . Overall restaurant looks cool and comfy ,food was good but customer service definitely needs some...
Read moreI’ve been here a lot. I love their tomato mozzarella salad. I had their wedge salad last night that was delicious. I omitted their blue cheese crumbles & substitute ranch instead of blue cheese dressing & had the bacon crumbles put on the side. I got the fried chicken sandwich which wasn’t a fried chicken breast but a long tender that I had to break into pieces to fit on the bun but then it was falling out so it was a pain to eat. It looked over cooked & dried out but it wasn’t. Their honey mustard dressing was really good & their coleslaw is the bomb! Just as good as KFC’s coleslaw. I find the personal pan pizzas don’t always taste the best but it’s a great deal ($7) on their HH menu. I got the BBQ chicken pizza & didn’t see nor taste the BBQ sauce. I asked the waiter if it had BBQ sauce on it & he said it did. When I told him I didn’t see it or taste it he didn’t do anything about it.
I love their cocktail glasses. They’re a nice size & Tito’s and soda with lemon always is so tasty here. One time I got their slidders & they were the bomb and the next time I got them they weren’t that great. Their pizzas are always a hit or miss. But their vanilla bean ice cream is to die for!
I usually come here for HH & sit @ the bar. Pretty much all the bartenders are great some are funner/cooler than others. lol Last night I took my friend’s who were visiting from out of town for dinner & sat @ a high top in the bar. Daniel was our waiter & I was pretty impressed he remember our order even with my small requests of things on the side & omitting an ingredient. He got everything right (he didn’t write any of it down) except when I ordered their cinnamon pizookie dessert after my friend paid the bill. He had asked me if it was for here & I told him no, it’s to go. Then when he brought it out it wasn’t packaged up to go. He took care of it quickly & we were on our way.
If you haven’t been here you must come by & try them out. Lots of variety food choices on their menu & their HH selection &...
Read moreWe got at BJ’s around 1:25pm and we put our name in for a party of five and was told 10 to 15 minutes. We went to the bar and got a beer and we are all watching the KC & TX game standing around waiting. All 5 member of our party were there. Around 1:50 i went to go and ask how much longer and shared that people after us were getting seated before us. The hostess said that they had called out my name and were looking for us?! We said we were right here and we never heard anyone call our name! The hostess said they got on their intercom and announced our name through the speakers? Everyone from our party were there and no one heard anything. We told the hostess that we never heard anything and that we still wanted to get seated. During this time we asked for the manager and shared our concerns. The manager said that she will have a talk with them. We got seated around 2:05 pm at a booth, the server come over and said that he had two other parties before us and he will be right with us. Around 2:35 he finally came over and took our order. We order our drinks and meals at the same time so we didn’t have to wait any longer. Around 2:55 one person from our party got their meal. We finally saw our server and ask what was going on with our orders and why would they bring one meal out before all of our meals? The server said that they were looking for the ticket, but they were able to bring one out but not the rest of the order?? Then we ask why would the table next to us that got seated 25 minutes later than us would get there meals before us? His excuse was that they had fried food so it was easier!! (WTH) After waiting for two hours or longer we walked out! We felt that we were targeted after we spoke to the manger when we found out that they lied about calling our name. We never got our meals and got treated like crap. Will never recommend or go to any BJ’s ever!!! It wasn’t the servers fault or at least we hope so. Location on 9520 S Eastern...
