If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Let’s start with the fact that we were trying to call since 11:30 am. No where on the website is it listed that you can not place an order via the phone. When the first employee answered, she decided to mention this after we informed her that the link to order online was not working properly. 30 minutes after adding everything (meals for our entire staff) we proceed to check out and Uber eats was “unavailable” mind you, we were trying to place an order for pick up not delivery. We informed the first employee that the link was not working, she had a terrible attitude and decided to hand the phone to upper management, which is an employee by the name of Kasee. From the moment Kasee picked up the phone, her customer service was not up to par. She offered to stay on the phone with us as we tried to order yet again through the Uber eats app. This ended up being a 23 minute phone call. After adding all of our staffs meals, the total came out to $93.65. Which is pretty pricey for only 6 employees, nonetheless we were willing to pay because we were all excited to try Harold’s chicken. We proceed to check out, yet again. Now, the payment is not working. Kasee proceeds to tell me “how much is the total?” “Oh yeah, sometimes on the larger orders the payment doesn’t go through on the app” and said “it’s probably your payment method, the card probably locked” needless to say, this is a company credit card and has a high enough limit to buy this order or any other order for that matter. It is now 12:33 PM, and we are having to have our staff pick an entire different place to eat after an HOUR delay because an exception could not be made for a phone order. We ordered elsewhere, and our payment method worked just fine. We do not have any clue how the food tastes, but based on the customer service experienced today, they will not receive our service now or in the future. I Work for various food delivery companies like Doordash and Ubereats for years so you can imagine I been into plenty of restaurants but when I accepted a offer to pick up food here It was hands down thee worst experience and example of professionalism I have ever experienced the workers are understaff the old white lady at the front was so rude to customers she was belligerent complaining the whole time saying she's tired she's gets no help she was talking about how the new bagger that's Jamaican is retarded and can't understand English the African American male was also cussing while barely focusing on cooking I watched how he operated the food for 35 mins and he touched multiple food items and raw chicken and did not wash his hands once you eat any food with raw chicken bits on it your getting sick. I then noticed as the line is getting to the door it's say please apply inside this poor gentleman asked for a job application and the white lady took it personal and went off on him telling him "do I look like a FN manger that mf never here get the f out and then the cook jumped up and threatened to slap the man as he walking out. Way too breaded and an uncomfortably large size). Generally speaking, the cashiers and employees have bad attitudes, but honestly that doesn't bother me so much as long as I get my food and there are no issues. I order through ChowNow for the convenience of knowing approximately when my order will be ready and timing my arrival based on that. Twice there have been major issues. November 26th was the first issue. I placed the order and never got a confirmation stating when the order would be ready, so I went in the restaurant to see what was going on. The cashier stated that the order never came through, and there was another gentleman there having the same issue. Turns out, the cashier never plugged in the tablet so it was dead and that's why the orders didn't come through. Another employee came and plugged in the tablet and tons of orders immediately began coming through. That's ridiculous, but I was willing to let that go because mistakes happen. The second issue happened on December 10th when I placed my order on ChowNow again and received confirmation stating that my order would be ready around 12:08pm. Thankfully, I arrived early, because there was nobody at the register and the cashier came into the restaurant minutes after I arrived and stated that she confirmed the order through the tablet, but never told the kitchen so it wasn't being made at all.
