Jesse's Pizza — Restaurant in Henderson

Placed an order through their app for Delivery. I immediately got a text back saying it was for pick up. I called in and spoke with a guy full of attitude that insisted that I placed the order for pick up. After arguing with him, he graciously agreed to make it a delivery order. After that warm welcome, I decided against having him prepare my food and asked for the order to be canceled. I’m sure the guy with attitude won’t refund my card and I’ll have to submit a charge back. I was actually looking forward to trying this place, but their customer service is sorely lacking. In a world where everyone and their mother is offering delivery, businesses need to be careful not to drive customers away with employees who don’t appear to want to work. I miss Jesse's after moving to North Carolina. They had good food at reasonable prices. I loved their huge chicken fingers and the pizza was good as well. My only complaint about Jesse's was the fact that their hours of operation were so scattered. Some days they open and close at one time then other days they open and close at different times, I cannot remember the exact days and times but it was very strange hours like....Monday open at 10 am, Tuesday open at 2pm, Wednesday at 12 noon, etc. Again this is not the actual times, just an example of how scattered their hours were. I would recommend consistent hours throughout the week so that customers know when they can count on the place being open.

So, I live in Henderson and have lots of local food choices. I choose Jesse’s pizza a lot. Here’s why.

Their pizza is good, sometimes great. I like a decently thin crust....check. Their sauce and toppings....check.

Their wings.....decent too.

I’m from Ireland originally.....and trust me.....I keep going back for those fries. OMG!!!! They may well have, in my opinion, the best fries in the Las Vegas Metropolitan area.

I’m not kidding. A little thicker than “French fries” not quite big enough to be what I grew up with “chips”. But perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the middle with fantastic seasoning. (Like Lawry’s plus garlic? Not sure) but a great stand alone...
