Placed an order for a 3 finger combo , extra crispy, butter on both sides. Upon pulling to the window , I was advised it would be a little while since I ordered extra crispy (to be expected, as I ALWAYS order extra crispy at canes). Shortly thereafter, I was handed my food, which I checked and noticed it was not extra crispy. I wanted on katelyn to open the window and let her know my chicken was not extra crispy & she rudely asked me “well how long do you want us to cook it?” I responded, “I don’t know. Any other time I order extra crispy, I’m never asked how long do I want it cooked. It comes out extra crispy” . She rudely asked the exact same question again, as if she didn’t hear my response to her the first time. I proceeded to open my box and show her that the skin on the chicken has falling off (which is something it does not do when it’s extra crispy) & said, “I want the skin on my chicken to be extra crispy, not soft and falling off. I come here often and have never been asked how long I want my food cooked? But when I say extra crispy, it comes out extra crispy & this is not extra crispy. How long was this cooked?”…. Katelyn says, “30 seconds. We only cook crispy for an extra 30 seconds.” I immediately said, “ok , I asked for extra crispy not crispy… So a minute and 30 seconds should do it.” Katelyn then laughs under her breath while simultaneously rolling her eyes & asks for the food back & mumbles , “so you’re just gonna eat a fry” just before the window closes. When I say I’ve never felt more disrespected for absolutely no reason at all. You would think katelyn had to fetch and kill the chicken that was just handed to me. She was hanging out the window w the most unwelcoming posture- arms folded. Her tone was just as terrible as it sounded reading this. And for what? Because I didn’t get what I ordered, paid & waited for???? She definitely needs some sort of conflict mediation, who asks a customer how long they want their food cooked when it came out under cooked? Seriously?
Oh and even after pulling forward and waiting an additional 10 minutes for my new order to come out. It still came out WRONG. My bread was not buttered on both sides & they left the exact same fries in the box. So they were extremely stale and cold. I’m willing to put all my money on Katelyn being the one...
Read moreI typically have positive experiences each time I visit this location, except for the last 2 times. The time before last I had ordered 2 extra sauces and paid for them and get home to find they only put in 1 extra. I thought things happen oh well I guess I will just tell them about it next time I go there. Well tonight happened to be the next time and I told the girl at the window and I asked if I could get a free sauce since they forgot to put one of my extras in last time.. and she asked if I had spoken to a manager.. I said no, but I did tell the person I gave my order to. She takes my money and closes the window but I can clearly see she is talking to a manager.. like ok I guess do what you have to do over what 37 cents or whatever it is? Big deal! I can overhear with the window closed loud enough for me to hear her say “I hate people, I hate people, I hate people!” … Ummmm you hate people cus they are trying to get something that they already paid for that YOU forgot to give me!!??? Calm down.. its just sauce.. its just 37 cents.. if it were that big a deal I would have just said forget it! Making a huge deal cus you had to put an extra sauce in my order? Okaaay… maybe you shouldn’t be working their if you’re getting miffed about some damn sauce. ………. She then opens the window and hands me my change finally… as I am putting my change in my wallet she leans over and very condescendingly says .. we went ahead and gave you and extra sauce but next time you need to call us to tell us what we forgot…. As if she was scolding me or thought I was being dishonest over freaking 30 cent SAUCE! Give me a freaking break!! Read moreI've kind of have been wanting to do this review for awhile. Being there's not a whole lot to add that isn't already universally known, I'll make this fairly quick. So being it's location is in Henderson and it's near the 215 off of Stephanie, that's a good thing and it's in a good enough location to catch a lot of traffic. It's an easier out then going in depending on what direction you are coming from but it's just not all that complicated. Because we have so many chicken choices and I've tried several of them, you obviously end up asking yourself from time to time......Where are we going tonight to get chicken? Cane's is one of the first places out of the countless to snap right into my mind and this one doesn't disappoint in the least. Fantastic food at a reasonable price, it's not going to break you and it's just the tastiest chicken, fries & Texas toast I've ever had the pleasure of eating. My only complaint and it's been ongoing in my mind for a long time now, they feel the need to charge .25 for an extra special sauce. I could see possibly a debatable conversation about this if they gave you enough to cover what you purchased to begin with.......seriously though, you don't & stop charging for extra ones. It's a bad look and I'm only looking past it for the most part because the food is so damn good. So in conclusion...... Fantastic food, great location, clean & very friendly, what more could you possibly ask for to motivate you if that's what you are in the mood...
