Looking for your caffeine fix in the culturally lean Henderson? This Warm Springs Starbucks (1331 W Warm Springs Rd, to be precise) is serving up the usual Seattle suspects in a space that's more IKEA-meets-Arizona than cozy coffee cabin, though that's not necessarily a bad thing for these locals. Options are rather limited in these parts after all.
The interior hits you with a modern warmth: wood paneling that would make a Scandinavian designer proud, lighting that's more "art gallery opening" than "coffee shop," and enough windows to make a greenhouse jealous. It's clean, it's crisp, and it's decidedly un-cluttered; Marie Kondo would definitely say this sparks joy.
But here's the plot twist: while the pre-dawn warriors can get their fix starting at 4:30 AM on weekdays (bless those baristas), the space feels designed more for the "grab-and-go" crowd than the "let-me-write-my-screenplay-here-all-day" folks. The seating is like a metaphor for Nevada itself; functional but not exactly plush, with bar stools that say "efficiency" more than "afternoon novel writing session."
The exterior? Well, it's as beige as a business meeting, but that iconic green mermaid logo pops like an oasis in the desert – which, given the worn parking lot and downtrodden gravel landscaping, isn't far from the truth.
Pro tip: They're open early enough (4:30 AM weekdays, 5:00 AM Saturdays, 5:30 AM Sundays) to catch the sunrise, but close early enough (around 6:00 PM weekdays, 5:30 PM weekends) to miss the sunset. Call ahead (+1 702-433-6120) if you're planning a late afternoon caffeine run.
Bottom line: If you're seeking the familiar comfort of your favorite Starbucks drinks with a side of desert modernism, this spot delivers. Just don't expect your grandmother's cozy coffee shop – this is more "efficient caffeine distribution center" than "quaint coffee corner." And sometimes, especially at 4:30 AM, that's exactly...
Read moreI have been a loyal, consistent customer of the Starbucks at Julia & Warm Springs in Las Vegas for years ever since COVID hit, I’ve placed orders every single weekend, spending a frankly disgusting amount of money at this location. That loyalty means nothing to your company clearly.
Today was the last straw.
I placed a large order via Uber Eats as I do every Saturday and Sunday for my family only to find out that after the order was taking unusually long, that the store let a random person walk out with it. No verification, no accountability, no diligence. They simply handed it off.
When I called the store to figure out what happened, their response was absolutely passive and dismissive. I was told to call Uber Eats which is laughable, because Uber Eats has no phone support. Their own app says the store has a merchant support line they can contact. I called the store again to relay this to them and they just shrugged it off.
I asked for a manager this time around. Big mistake. The manager could not have cared less. No apology. No effort. Just another robotic referral to Uber Eats. Not a hint of ownership, empathy, or attempt to make things right for a regular customer who’s spent hundreds if not thousands at this store over the past few years.
I’m done.
Done with this store. And frankly, done with Starbucks as a whole. If this is how long-time, loyal customers are treated when your own staff makes the mistake, there’s reason to keep...
Read moreSo I will admit that I have a an obsession/addiction to Starbucks. I know this will date me but when I go to Starbucks it reminds me of that old TV show called “Cheers” where everybody knows your name. I love how the baristas as a general rule are so friendly. It is a big reason why I’m willing to pay so much for a drink. However the last several times that I have been to this particular location I have been helped by a girl named Kayla. Not Kayla P. mentioned a couple of reviews down. She was very unfriendly. Multiple times. I held off on leaving a review the first time it happened because everyone can have a bad day. Also, because the new Starbucks cups are coming out tomorrow and I could see that they had boxes full of them I asked if I would be allowed to take a peek (I communicated clearly that I would not touch them or ask to buy one. Decisions are hard! So many cute cups! I wanted to think about which one(s) I wanted.) You would have thought I’d asked to do something awful by the reaction I got. However I could see that the boxes had already been ripped open and the baristas had already selected their favorites which were sitting out on the counter behind the register. I will not be coming back to this location. I will stick to the one closer to home where the barista‘s...
