Read moreDefinitely an older property than Red Rock Lanes. Aged and needs an upgrade to the layout and the lanes. Will give it time to see if there are any noticeable changes but was there 3 years ago and it appears the same.
Update: Bowled a tournament on Thursday and today. Yesterday did not go as planned as the conditioner was laid on all 72 lanes late and the 2pm squad did not start till close to an hour later. This really made it a long day and overlapped into the start times for the next squad. At one point there was only one person operating two conditioners and also cleaning the approaches. Later there was others assisting after the start time came and went. There was an earlier squad but there was apparently not enough staffing.
Today on lane 17 there apparently an issue with pin 2 dropping if the #2 pin was included. There was a mechanic working on it and hoped there would not be any issues once our squad time started but that was short lived as we had to call to have it reset to the "Last known" multiple times.
One would hope that Strike Zone would track issues prior to a big tournament and address the known issues but apparently it was not. Not pointing to any one particular person but the powers to be need to take heed to this.
These latest developments does not change my personal rating of...
Read moreHad to change my review from five stars to one star due to the way i was treated on a Saturday night! We walk in around 10PM for cosmic bowling until 2AM. Well the person in the front counter was a black guy with dreads, (he seemed like he hated his life cause he's a bowling cashier) i walked up trying to ask questions about what would be the cheaper alternative since i had a party if four with me & we wanted to bowl for a good while not just a game or two, he kept wanting me to buy games but i wanted to get charged by the hour, since each game we would of had to pay by player & each player is $13 or so. I feel like he just wanted to hustle me cause i asked "well how much for the hour" he snickers & says "ha seriously? alright then, um what shoe size" like this is no way to speak to a customer, he punches in some random numbers & goes "it'll be $87.99 for all four of you, whats your shoe size man" yeah i think not! I turn around & leave cause obviously he's got such a thick skull nothing i say will stop him from being a d*ck. We just ended up going to sams town. They have cosmic bowling as well they just dont call it that! Never coming here again. Terrible customer service. Very...
