Sierra Gold — Restaurant in Henderson

This has to be one of the best places to relax I have ever been to! Over the past 30 years lived in many cities across the southeren states, so that is a compliment in itself.

My first couple of visits were a tad frustrating as I had to wait a while for service at the bar but, after taking a weeks vacation to remodel my kitchen, I needed somewhere to eat and went here during the afternoon every day... Outstanding service, the food is truly excellent, and they even have a pint of beer that I really like.

I am now a confirmed customer and will visit at every possible opportunity I can. I truly enjoy the relaxing atmosphere, pleasant service from their friendly staff, and the food! My goodness.. the food!! My mission is to try everything on the menu but I keep craving the seared Tuna, the shrimp tacos, and their sliders.. For just 7 bucks I get pretty much a whole steak in 3 tasty buns. Next opportunity I can go there for breakfast I am going to order those steak sliders, substitute fries for hash browns, and add a couple of fried eggs.. Going to be the tastiest (cheapest?) Steak and Eggs around.

I would like to thank the management and servers at Sierra Gold for their assistance in our engagement party that we held here on 1/17/2015. I met with a member of management prior to our date and she was awesome in helping to set the menu and placing my catering order. On the day of our party, the food came out as scheduled, perfectly timed to the arrival of our guests. They had a table set out with plates, silverware, and napkins. The food was good. A couple of our guests even complimented that the food was better than the normal "bar food". We had the panini platter, boneless wings, buckets of fries, and chips with salsa and guacamole dip. The servers were awesome in checking in with guests and making sure everyone had their drinks throughout the night. The pool table area was reserved and was clearly set so that only the guests of our party accessed this area. We had this area reserved from 6 pm to 9 pm but we ended up staying until midnight! We will definitely consider this location again for future parties or get-togethers. Thank you SO much again to the management team...

My first drink was made incorrectly. After telling the waitress, she got annoyed. I asked for a simple shot with juice after that and she came back to clarify that i wanted them mixed. After the drink came, she barely spoke, and was often no where to be found. We asked another waitress to assist us and after being ignored, the table she was serving told her we needed help. She pointed to us and loudly said..."that's not my table, I'm not helping them." Everybody's mouth were wide open so she corrected herself and said, "but I'll find their waitress." The other friends that arrived started tabs at the bar so they could drink because the waitress was still nowhere to be found.
