The Mac & Grill Cheese Factory — Restaurant in Henderson

My family and i came to eat here based on a recommendation from a coupon we got with a company called Dining Advantage. The restaurant was clean so they had that going for them but then the issues began at the register. We ordered our food and i showed the coupon to the girl at the register. She was brand new and had no idea how to apply the coupon so she texted her manager. The manager then proceeded to tell her that the coupon was fake and that they didn't have any ongoing coupons or deals. I spoke to him over her cellphone and informed him that the coupon was from Dining Advantage and he said that it wasn't legitimate but they would still honor it. Well, the girl at the register had no idea how to apply the coupon so she couldn't get the 25 percent off that the coupon claimed we could get. We decided we didn't want to eat there anymore because of all that, so we left.

Just a word of advice to the manager. If you are going to have a new employee work the register, you or an assistant manager should be present to help work out any kinks that may happen. Very disappointed with the service upon entry. Doors were locked and the young girl came and opened the doors as we were walking away. There was a group of 5 adults and we asked if we could join 2 tables so that we had enough room. We were told we couldn't do that.

Because we had Synergy gift cards we decided to stay and eat at 3 different tables to accommodate our group.

I asked the young person at the counter if fries were included with the price. Her reply was I can add fries to the order. My question was are fries included with the sandwich? The menu didn't specify nor was it clear on what was included. The fries were an extra charge.

Once we took time to review the menu and decide what to order we proceeded up to the counter to place our order to find out the Synergy Cards we purchased from Costco could not be used.

Needless to say we left and went to Freddy's and had a fabulous meal and went to Costco and returned the gift cards.

Management needs to train front end staff so that when a question is asked the counter staff should be able to answer.

Let me start by saying I came across this place on social media. I didn't even know it was a thing. My youngest LOVES Mac and Cheese and it couldn't be more perfect timing, since we were deciding where to go for his birthday dinner. They have so many different things we wanted to try and our order ended up being a big order. Cashier who helped us (Michael) was so nice when I told him it was a big order and made sure it was correct. Once our order was taken, the other employee (Aaliyah) started bringing it to us as they were ready. Food was hot and delicious. Portions are big, big enough for 2 people to charge if need be. Wings were delicious, Mac n cheese balls 😋, . But besides the food being good the service was so great. Aaliyah was so friendly, fun and interactive with my kids. Joking around, conversating, all in all made the visit so much more enjoyable. Very helpful and made sure everything we ordered was correct and hot when brought to us.
