Unfortunately this review is based on my last visit here. I've had many better visits here in the past but this last one was 100% disappointing. My friend & I came here after a visit to an ER for my broken foot, we were hungry. We came in on 01/20/2024 around 9am. We sat @ the bar. Our bartender was Alexis Marie & she was obviously new or just didn't know her stuff. She didn't' know the beers that they had when my friend had asked. I felt like she was too busy trying to look pretty & keep her hair from moving. I ordered the pretzel with cheese as an appetizer & asked for it to come out first, which it didn't. It came out while we were eating our meals. The person who brought it out did apologize for it coming out late. (Thank you for that!) We both ordered the chicken fingers. I know that only 5 come to a serving & I asked if they could toss some in sweet chili sauce & some in BBQ sauce & was told "yes." Well guess what? They weren't tossed in either sauce & came out plain with each sauce on the side. I questioned this to Alexis & she was like "oh, do you want me to take them back & fix it?" I told her "no" because I was hungry & didn't want to have to wait. Well when the bill came I got charged .25 cents for the BBQ sauce. Why? Alexis never told me that I would be charged for asking to have my chicken tossed it 2 different sauces & since she made the mistake of not ordering it correctly why should I have to pay for her mistake?? Also their pretzel is so big I had to ask for a to go container for it & my chicken tenders. I asked for more cheese sauce since the serving that they give you isn't big enough & she brought out a container for my food but no cheese so I asked about my sauce & she said "oh, they're making it." Oh really? Why didn't' she mention that when I asked for more or even more important why didn't she tell me I was going to have to pay $2.00 to get more cheese? Like "WTH?!?!?!" I did mention before ordering food that I was a healthcare worker since they give us a 25% discount off of our bill. I then showed her my badge. My friend & I were both gambling while we were here. I put $20 in my machine & lost it so I put another $20 in. I got 2 Topo Chico while I was here which normally they will comp you your drinks while gambling. Some places will do one drink per $20, but this place hasn't always been like that, as long as your gambling they will give you free drinks. My friend had $100 in the machine & took it up to $130 plus some change. He got 3 Budweisers while here. Well guess what happened when our bill came?? We BOTH GOT CHARGED FOR ALL OUR DRINKS. I asked if they don't comp drinks anymore while gambling?? Mind you we were @ a different Parkway Tavern location the night before & all our drinks were comped. She told me "no, you get charged 2% of what you gamble for your drinks." LIKE WHAT?? What the heck was she talking about??? I've never heard of such a thing & if you look @ my receipt we didn't even get that discount. We only got the 25% healthcare workers discount. This was sooooooo messed up. Like what in the world? This girl is all sorts of things that I don't want to say on here because I don't want to be mean but I hope management reads this & addresses this with her. I don't plan on coming back here any time soon!!

Stumbled upon this place while looking for anything 24 hours and could not be happier that I did. This place is great! Music playlist tonight is a mix of Beastie Boys, Naughty By Nature and similar. They have free WiFi with the password in the SSID, which I confirmed before connecting. They also have a power outlet and two USB charging ports at each table. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. Jennifer is my server tonight and she is incredible. I ordered the Classic Breakfast which has 3 eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage and toast for a shocking $5.95... $0.99 coffee as well... And it's pretty decent coffee and they made a fresh pot for me. She asked if I wanted hot sauce and I mentioned I saw a Scorpion Pepper dish on the menu. Sadly they can't give out the pepper seasoning without signing a waiver as part of a wing challenge they have but she got me a Scorpion Pepper BBQ sauce instead. This sauce is by far the greatest sauce I've had. Very spicy, could be hotter though ;), and very tasty. Goes great on eggs and potatoes. Overall this has become my new favorite bar/restaurant for late night working. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Came here for happy hour, was greeted as soon as I sat at the bar. Bar staff was extremely attentive and friendly. No happy hour menus, but on the screen, it said two dollars off of beer, cocktails, well drinks. There also might’ve been food on the screen, but it was only on one screen i couldn’t really see so I ended up ordering the jalapeño popper eggrolls. Not a fan the cheese is extremely overwhelming and is served with a chili sauce. The rest of the menu was a Typical Bar food. Large beer selection, bottles, cans, and drafts . It filled the sheet front and back. Lots to do they had axe throwing, two lanes of bowling, pool tables, and, of course, video gaming. Beautiful outdoor patio that includes booth seating, couches, TVs, and corn hole. Overall I spent about $20 with my appetizer, beer, and two well drinks. (Before tip)

Not so much Parkway Tavern. Step up your game and offer the same warm and friendly atmosphere the one on a Village Walk Dr. offers us.

We used to frequent this bar for food and drinks. We attempted to grab some food and drinks a few days ago. We were going to have a large group meet us but then something happened. Call it the end of the world event for some Karen’s out there.

Picture this, the bar counter is approx 8-10 meters (20-30ft) away from the front door. A few guests at the counter gambling and drinking. Very normal scene. They also look like they could use our business. We are then asked, “do you have masks”. Actually no we did not. We asked if they had them for us, the lady responded “no”. I then explained we were going to sit down and grab some drinks. She explained that we needed a mask ifwe were not eating or drinking. Well, why else are we there? What the heck… I then explained we can sit down right away and order. They had zero interest. We eat out all the time. Almost every night and never have had this lame and emotional experience.l due to not having a mask available. Now mind you there could not accommodate us. We politely stated that we would go somewhere else in which we did and had a great time.

The leadership at this bar and the unforgiving mask policy is very sad. No guests at the bar were wearing masks while they were enjoying themselves and how pathetic and unintelligent is it that I have to wear a mask upon entry, can be seated 5 feet away from the hostess stand and then take my mask off as of now I am protected. Foolish and embarrassing that my fellow Americans go along with this absurdity. Don’t waste your hard earned bucks on this unfair and pathetic lack of service from Parkway Tavern. We will not anymore and sadly we spend thousands...

I recently visited Parkway Tavern, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience, all thanks to Joe! From the moment we walked in, he greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine eagerness to make our visit memorable.

One thing that truly stood out was Joe's impeccable knowledge of the menus. He effortlessly guided us through the various options, providing insightful recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. His expertise on the different dishes and beverages added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience.

But it wasn't just Joe's knowledge that made the evening exceptional; it was his fantastic attitude and personality. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely engaged with every guest, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. It felt like we were dining with an old friend rather than just being served by a server.

Throughout the meal, Joe was prompt with his service, ensuring that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. His attention to detail and genuine care for the guests truly shone through, making us feel valued and appreciated.

As a result of Joe's outstanding service, my friends and I have already decided to make Parkway Tavern our go-to spot for future gatherings. Having such a personable and knowledgeable server like Joe really makes all the difference in creating a memorable dining experience.

In conclusion, Joe at Parkway Tavern is a true gem! If you're looking for an amazing drinking or dining experience with top-notch service, look no further. I highly recommend paying a visit, and you can be sure I'll be returning soon to enjoy Joe's excellent service and the overall fantastic ambiance of...
