This was the most unbelievable experience. I ordered curbside to go on a Friday night with a pick up time of 11:20 and paid online. The website says curbside to go till 11:30 and inside pick up till 1:00 am. I pull into the curbside parking space, two employees that were outside the door smoking went back inside, I wait about 10 minutes. As I am waiting, I watch 4 waitresses walk back and forth near the curbside door, txting on their phones, and chatting. I finally go inside, 2 waitresses that were sitting near the door folding napkins watch me walk to the pick up counter never speaking, I see my order sitting on the counter, I look for assistance but no one speaks. I open the bag to confirm it was the food I ordered, I look around again to see if anyone is coming to help me before I take my order and walk past the 2 waitresses folding napkins that were watching me the entire time without speaking. I get to my car open the door place the bag on the car seat to throughly inspect my order. Everything is there. I pick the bag up from the car seat to sit down and close the door and my car door is yanked from my hand along with the bag of food. A young woman loudly says" You need to pay for that" I told her I had paid for it online, she replies I don't think so! I try to show her my husbands phone that confirmed I had paid. She says" Wait right here" and walks inside. I Walked to the door with the phone to prove if needed that I had in fact paid. She opens the door hands me a receipt to sign. I said " So I did pay" she replies "Well how was I supposed to know when you just took the food and left" I tried to explain that I had been waiting in the car for assistance and then in the restaurant as well. She turns and walks inside. I was shocked. This took place over a time period of 15 minutes. The only way anyone was going to interact with me at all was after I had to get my own food. And then my car door and food was yanked from my hands and I was accused of not paying. I have never been physically or verbally treated so rudely. I went inside to speak with a manager. I asked to same young girl to get a manager and she walked away to the other side of the bar area. One of the waitresses at the bar promptly asked if I needed help. I asked to speak to a manager she politely said yes and went in to the kitchen. When the first waitresses saw this she went into the kitchen and proceeded to yell her entire version of the story to Dave the manager. I heard every word and was appalled. I stood there for 3 minutes listening to the yelling before Dave walks out. I asked "does she not know I can hear what she is saying." Dave just stands there with a blank look on his face. I explained that I had my car door yanked from my hand and been basically accused of stealing food I paid for. At this point her comes waitress to yell at me " I didn't yank your car door, you tried to close it and I stopped you" Dave stands there without a word. I could not believe the manager stood speachless while his employee yelled at me. At this point I felt like I was in the twilight zone with zombies. I try to walk towards the door and waitresses cuts me off and I wait for her to pass. As I am leaving I said " Never again". As I am walking to the door Dave says" Well I sorry, I would like to make it up to you" with absolutely no facial expression at all. I said " No I'm done here" and I headed for the door. My husband and I were blown away. This experience was so horrible on so many levels. I almost feel like I should have called the police when she grabbed my car door and yanked it from my hand. Read moreToday my family and I went to Applebee’s to enjoy lunch. As we were greeted by our server, I did notice that not only was her apron dirty but also her pants were extremely dirty as well. I put that aside and continue on to order my drinks and appetizer, when the appetizer came out, the mozzarella sticks could’ve been cooked longer but my kids had already devoured them. I ordered a steak medium well when it came out it was 100% medium maybe even medium rare. The server took it back to the kitchen immediately and tried to fix it . At this point I expected a manager to come over and assure me that not only with my steak be out soon, but it would be cooked correct. When my steak came back, it was well done. I didn’t complain. I just kept it and rolled with it. At that point my server brought my daughter’s bread to the table that came with her pasta. With her bare hands never in my life have I seen anyone bring food out with their bare hands to a table. And I’m in the service industry I kept letting these things slide. We asked for boxes to go as I went to put my food in the box. I put my broccoli in the box and noticed there was a hair in my broccoli not just any hair as the server said a beard hair, she told me that she was Sorry And at that point, I politely told her she can take the food. I don’t even want it anymore. I’m sick to my stomach after her, taking the plate of food that I was supposed to box A manager still never came by which is insane to me. The table we sat out at the back of the restaurant to the far right not only had a huge gnat problem. But we were also fighting flies. At one point we had to take napkins to cover our food so that the fly wouldn’t land on it. Read moreI just want to start off by saying I love Applebee's, but this particular one is disappointing. I went in today to eat dinner with my family. Nikki was our waitress. She had a really good personality. Everything was going well until they brought out the wrong steak. I had ordered a regular steak and she brought out a steak with shrimp and sauce all over it. This happens sometimes and was no big deal, but if I am going to pay $15 for a meal I would like it to be what I ordered. She asked if I would like to pick the shrimp off and eat it. I said I would prefer a new steak. She said no problem and it would be right out. I figured it would take a few minutes for the steak to be freshly prepared, but she came back in 2 minutes. "Wow" I thought that was pretty quick. She asked me to cut into the steak to see if it was prepared correctly. As I went to cut into the steak it still had some left over white sauce STILL on it. I told her that it had the sauce still on it. She proceeded to tell me she saw them make me a new one. I then chose to take a bite anyways (my mistake) and it was WET and COLD. she came back and I was upset. SOMEONE HAD WASHED THE DANG STEAK OFF AND TRIED TO REHEAT IT. It was cold in the middle and wet. That was ridiculous. She apologized and offered to bring me something else. If they can't even remake a steak for me how can you trust them to not mess with it.
