My husband and I were going to go to sweetfrog after dinner but decided to try somewhere local instead and stopped off here on our walk back to our Airbnb- BEST decision EVER! They have vanilla and chocolate frozen custard plus a special weekly and daily flavor, and a ton of mix ins too. I got the daily flavor, which was brown butter almond, and it was how I imagine drinking Harry Potter butter beer on a frosty day with a waffle cone. The slivered almonds mixed in were the perfect crunch and it was just so perfectly buttery, sweet, and a tiny bit salty. It was like $5 for the biggest scoop of my life, too. My husband got the weekly flavor, Buckeye, aka peanut butter heaven with Reeseâs mixed in, and that was amazing, too! They donât have a thousand flavors like some more corporate-y chain places but gosh darn, they do their flavors WELL. I was bummed we couldnât come by the next day for the new flavor (blueberry waffle cone crunch!!!) since we were leaving town. Highly recommend you skip the chains and try this local spot,...

How hard is it to smile and use a voice people can hear? The manager/owner obviously relies on young people to run the place- ive never seen an adult working behind the counter (or anywhere). How about asking some of those young people to tidy up the floors (outdoors too) and water the plants? It's been sad to watch the plants and patio areas go without any attention and covered in ice cream sludge. A powerwasher would be a fun job for one of those kids. A screwdriver would fix that wobbly table in an instant. There are always plenty of young people standing around. Obvioulsy the owner of this place doesn't care and he probably pays poverty wages since we've never been served by the same person twice. Where is the owner? How about reinvesting some of your profits into keeping the place nice and staffed with people who know how to smile? Maybe pay your servers more? It was such...
Read moreNever going back! My 5 yr old tripped coming down the step inside and dropped her ice cream. It went everywhere. Got her cleaned up she was crying so we asked for another cause she never even got a bite. I explained what happened to the older man at the counter as we asked for a hand towel to clean up the floor. He stated I needed to pay for another even though she tripped and fell from the step in his establishment. To keep my child from being upset and embarrassed I paid so she didnât feel any worse. But there is no customer service there and he was the rudest most unfriendly person. WILL NEVER BE BACK AND IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME THERE!! ...
