Have been waiting for this place to open, but unfortunately it was a bit underwhelming. We ordered three medium pizzas and two side items. One side item was the “crazy bread” which I believe is a trademark infringement on Little Caesar’s. Speaking of Little Caesar’s, that’s about the equivalent of the quality of what we ordered. One of our pizzas was supposed to be Pesto Chicken & Feta Pizza - what we received wasn’t even a menu item - it was just mozzarella cheese and chicken pieces. Also the app they recommend you to use does not allow you to add additional cheeses, which is odd, but I can see why they push the app because language is definitely a barrier. Overall I would recommend avoiding the sides altogether, and I’m sure we’ll give them another shot, after some time has passed in hopes they work out the kinks. Definitely not worth $60.
*Responding to your added comment about no mushroom on our order - you are correct, we did ask for no mushroom, however, your site and the app also list that the Pesto Chicken & Feta pizza comes with pesto basil sauce, chicken, mushroom, tomatoes, feta cheese and mozzarella cheese. How is it we ask for no mushrooms but also get none of the other toppings other than as what I stated previously - just the chicken and mozzarella cheese? No pesto basil sauce, no tomatoes and no feta! Also, the picture of this pizza in the app is the same picture as the Garden Veggie Pizza - I would suggest fixing that. We also asked to add feta cheese to another pizza on the order and that...
Read moreI need you to read this review. It’s being drawn from deep within me by the universe; entering my mind from the great beyond, and pouring out of me like the rushing of great waters. Please heed, and understand.
This place is THE ideal pizza restaurant. It’s not technically the best pizza I’ve ever had, but it is excellent. It’s not technically the best atmosphere I’ve ever experienced, but it was NECESSARY. The service was not fine dining caliber, but it never should have been, you poor, sweet fool.
It is exactly what it is. And that is beautiful. It is vibrant, esoteric, eldritch. It almost pains me to remember it, but that pain is glorious, and the pizza is more glorious for it.
The first breath that draws in the crisp coolness, heralding the coming of autumn. The damp cloth that soothes the fire of your fevered skin. The sun breaking through the clouds. The first bite of the BBQ chicken pizza. The inexplicably divine ribs, better than any rib that has passed betwixt these lips in a decade or more.
Do not scoff! Ignore me at your own peril! This place MATTERS.
When I walked through the doors tonight, it was like I entered a fey realm. A benevolent twilight zone. The decor? What one might expect. The vibe? Indescribable.
I swear on my life that crossing the threshold into the shop tonight carried me into another dimension. A dimension wherein pizza is made as it should be.
And ribs that blew my mind to smithereens.
Heed my call. Come and see....
Read moreI'm always eager to try a new pizza place. It's been open now for probably a few months. The reviews were mixed but I was determined to try their pizza and come to my own conclusion.
The owner and family staff the place and the young lady who took my order was friendly. The place is brand new, so obviously it was clean and appealing. I ordered in person and my wait was reasonable.
I really wanted to like this place, but I don't believe I will be back unless I hear they have changed the dough. The dough is the foundation for any pizza and my personal preference is for a nice mix between crispy and chewy. My opinion is that the crust is too 'floury' and heavy. I don't really have an opinion to offer about the other ingredients because I couldn't really taste much other than the floury crust.
I love to see new locally owned small businesses, and I really want this place to succeed. If they put some time into developing a new crust, I'd give them another shot in a heartbeat. Until then, probably not, but you be...
