Slim Chickens — Restaurant in Herriman

Last night was the WORST experience I’ve ever had in my life at a restaurant!!!! This was the first time I’ve ever been to this restaurant and I was excited to try it. After paying for my food they asked us to pull up and they would bring our food out. After waiting for 20 minutes in the drive through line a young kid FINALLY came, but we had to flag him down for an update. Our only options were playing Frogger with the other cars in the drive-through line to get an update or drive around to the front and go inside and ask for our food, but then we risk them giving our food to the wrong car in the drive-through lane. The manager finally came out to speak with us, after I asked to speak with a manager. I told her that our children were waiting at home for this food and that this was ridiculous and that we just wanted our money back. Then she walked away and about five minutes later came back and asked for our card to put our money back on it. Then we waited another 10 minutes before she brought our bank card back out to us with a very sad pumpkin pie in a jar as a “sorry”. So to sum it all up, we sat in the drive-through parking lot for over 30 minutes while she held our food hostage the first 20 minutes and then our bank card hostage the last 10 minutes!!! I hope they record their calls! I have gone here since day one, spent more money here than any other local place, not sure about the change but the day manager today was horrible. I used doordash and 3rd time in a row, order missing stuff, eveytime they blame it on doordash but its a store receipt that shows it was on there. I explained how frustrating it was and everytime they push the blame. I explained I have 3 kids one specail need that cant be left alone and he laughed on the phone and told me to come in. I explained I cant and why and he said em hmm come on in. I went in and he was just as rude and I showed him recipt and that is was a store receipt not door dash and its their mistake which made him madd, he said I was not welcome there anymore, $70 and this is service, he was horrible, so much compeitition around I dont have to go back, all it takes is simple empathy for a mistake and maybe admit the mistake, with mistakes before they have apologized and been great this guy was horrid, His english was broken so I tried to give hom benefit of doubt over the phone, amazing the attitude. Even when I showed him proof of mistake it made him more upset, Thanks for ruined meal with my kids, we used to look forward to yall, hope yall can play back calls you will...

Tonight wasn't only the first night I have been here. Juicy chicken in both the tenders and the sandwich. I enjoy their bbq, cayenne ranch and the spicy bbq sauce. My favorite jar is the cookies one. The fries are delicious. Thank you Cat and Halle for a wonderful experience in drive thru. Thank you to the behind the scenes cook crew for a delicious meal. Sure, there could be a wait at times like any other drive through restaurant, but the wait is worth it for the best chicken tenders and even chicken cayenne chicken sandwich. I look forward to continuing to try more of the menu. My food has never been cold, or lacking flavor. I have dined in and the restaurant is clean. And as stated previously, sure a wait through drive through, but not horrible and as expected in any type of establishment with a drive through. Maybe someday they will have a "chicken of the sea" aka Tuna/other fish on their menu for those who cannot eat meat on Sunday's during Lent. Good price. Friendly service. Good food. Look forward to going back again and again trying out more...
