Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Herriman

I do not understand how this place refuses to get their act together.

Today we came in for lunch. There was one person who had already ordered and was waiting for his food. We ordered our food and waited. For 30 minutes!!! The restaurant was practically empty and it took 30 minutes.

A bunch of people ordered after us and it took them probably 30 to get their food too. We luckily weren't in a hurry but the others before and after us were in work uniforms and were obviously in a hurry.

They also forgot some of our chicken and the fries were hard as rocks. Even though our friend ordered right after us it took so long between our order and hers that they had time to cook fresh fries and so her fries were fresh.

This location is also frequently short on inventory. Today it was sauces last time it was biscuits ketchup and other sauces.

Last week we came in around 11am and there was no one in line or in the dining room and we waited for 3 minutes to get acknowledged. We got a just a minute from the manager while he went on talking to someone in the back so we walked out.

This isnt a fluke occurrence. It would be one thing if this place was on the ball all the time and this happened like once. This happens almost anytime we come in.

There are 3 scenarios you can expect when you enter this place. completely slow service and delivery of food. fast service but multiple things wrong with your order. or rarely you get quick service and correct food but it's because the people before you had the first scenario and now they actually have food to give you or it was slow before you came and your food is...

I've never really had great customer service at any Popeye's I've visited. This one in Herriman seems particularly poor in the customer service category. It seems to have been that way since we opened. With the recent chicken sandwich craze, it's become even worse. I love the new spicy chicken sandwich. I'm a bit obsessed with it. I've talked my co-workers into going with me to Popeye's several times of late. Last week I was craving the spicy chicken sandwich. We went to the Herriman restaurant on Monday (Aug 26). The store was closed because they said their general manager was choking on something, so they had to call an ambulance and shut the store down. Okay, I can totally see that. No big deal. Safety is paramount. We went again the next day on Tuesday (Aug 27) to find the line long and so slow that after waiting a bit we just left along with others who were in line in front of us. We visited again on Wednesday (Aug 28) to find that they were all out of chicken for the spicy chicken sandwiches. They weren't very communicative, but we were able to get out of one employee that more would be arriving that night. On our final attempt, Thursday (Aug 29) we were met with signs on the door saying that they store was closed because the registers were down. Really? Four days . . .four attempts . . . four failures. I called several times during the week to see if they had more chicken sandwiches and never once had the phone answered. Come on Popeye's! You can do better. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I used a discount code from there website and their staff failed to enter it in at the point of sale. When I review my receipt and addressed it the staff member acted as if she did comprehend what I was saying so I asked for a manager. The “General Manager” Bratzo argued about the validity of the code and continued to argue you with me about it for several minutes refusing to refund my money. I asked for his corporate contact information and he refused to provide me with any information. He told me that he does not report to anyone and to google the information if I wanted it. They asked me what sauces I would like and I told them hot sauce, ranch, and BBQ and they gave me one packet of 2 different kinds of mustard. Not only that, the food was cold and disgusting. This place is always dirty. The soda machine is sticky and good luck finding a clean table to sit. The drive up always has long wait times. For a newer location,the bathrooms are gross. I will never go to Popeyes again. I googled there corporate number and they tried to make me download there app to get a refund. I just got finished telling you how gross my food was and how rude and incompetent your staff is and you want to give me a gift credit for more gross food at a place that will ruin my order and can’t cook?
