The community was great and in a good location, but the unit itself was out of date and had a lot of issues. We only lived there for a year, and the AC broke twice in the middle of summer, the toilet in the 1/2 bath kept malfunctioning, there was a gas leak so bad that our carbon monoxide alarm went off on January 16th and we had to call the fire department, then a small gas leak the rest of the time. There were also a lot of scratches on the cabinets and the sink sprayer didnât work when we moved in. They definitely use the âlandlord specialâ way of fixing a unit for new tenants. We would have overlooked all of that because weâre not picky people, but we were treated so poorly by Hada and the rest of the property management team. My husband was hospitalized with covid in October 2021, and was placed on oxygen for a month so he was unable to work. They were quick to apply fees and start the eviction process with no remorse at all. We luckily got housing assistance, but then in July, they called and told us we were not able to renew our lease 60 days out and didnât give us a reason. On top of that, my husband was laid off that same week, and got unemployment benefits for July. Anyone on unemployment knows that the payments arenât always sent in a timely manner, and we have proof of this. Hada didnât even provide us with a 3 day pay or vacate notice and only notified us that she was starting the eviction process. When I confronted her, she sent a blurry picture of a notice on our door with no date. If there was a notice, I would have seen it since I work from home. They responded also with a photo of my cat in the window, which I provided an ESA letter for in March, and are trying to charge us and say she was not authorized. They are the absolute least accommodating and have zero compassion for human struggle. Again, we had proof of this struggle and they werenât even willing to hear us out. The week we were moving out, they called us every day to ensure we were out, even though LEGALLY you have 30 days to vacate once given a notice. We werenât even provided an eviction notice to respond to. Never ever rent here. Absolute worst experience...
Read moreLiving here was extremely disappointing, and my move-out experience confirmed that this property management team prioritizes squeezing money out of residents rather than treating them with fairness or respect.
After moving out, I was hit with excessive and questionable fees that felt more like a predatory scam than a fair assessment. Charges were inconsistent, changed multiple times after âerrors in their system,â and even when I provided documentation, they still attempted to pass costs onto me. While some charges were eventually reduced, the entire process left me feeling manipulated and taken advantage of.
This attitude was consistent throughout my tenancy. Communication from management was always cold and impersonal, with mandatory maintenance notices that made no effort to consider the lives of residents. In a community where many people work from home, attend online school or homeschool, or have other factors impacting them, itâs incredibly inconsiderate to treat tenants as inconveniences rather than people.
On top of that, the property itself was poorly maintained, and management showed little interest in addressing issues unless it benefitted them financially. The customer service was consistently dismissive, with no sense of care for residentsâ well-being.
I would strongly caution anyone considering living here: the managementâs practices feel outdated, predatory, and entirely profit-driven, with no respect for residents or...
Read moreThis place has filled in as our home while we constructed our house. Its never been welcoming at all. The day we moved in, our truck was in front of our house with stuff in the bed, and we got lifted on a tow truck. It had been maybe 5 min since we had taken a load of stuff inside and he had us lifted waiting to be paid. I had to pay $75 for him to put my truck down. I told the front desk and they said i shouldve put my hazards on. That started us out right. Everytime I went in to pay my rent, i got little more than a glance. Heaven forbid i forgot the exact amount i needed to pay and Cindy had to look it up. That inconvenience to her was enough to make me pay the remainder of my payments online. We are now moving out in 5 days and i just came home to two people in my condo. When asked about why they were in my house, they had only the response that they are entitled to enter at anytime and that a note was placed on my front door. After confirming with my wife that we had not received a note i called in to let them know that maybe a more secure way of informing tenants they were going to be invaded is more appropriate. Cindy instead argued that they are right and i am wrong. What happens when they enter a concealed carriers home and he walks in on them. They have no respect for tenants, they are put out when asked to do anything and rude in all their interactions. In short,...
