Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in High Point

This review is for the CFA at Friendly Center, Greensboro, NC

I love CFA. It's my preferred option for lunch on most days, but after several visits to this location on work days (because it's closest to my office), I think I'm going to stop coming here.

For eat in restaurant service, this location just hasn't lived up to what I've come to expect from the CFA brand. I've always had to choose the least dirty table, and (no kidding) I've never gotten an order here that wasn't missing something.

I've always had to ask for something a second time. Sometimes after a long wait, I've had to ask a third time

Today I decided I'm not going to ask again...I'm not going to clean my own table again. I'm just going to stop coming to this location and save my business for the locations closer to home that live up to the brand more faithfully.

I came to the drive thru around 8:15-8:30pm 02/26/24. Young man named "Joe" standing in the middle of the drive through. After 10 seconds or so, he moves out of the way. I drive up, I said, "Customers can't pull up to place their order if you're standing in the middle of the way. " He said, "Well, I hope not." I said, "Excuse me?" And he repeated himself. I asked him why he just stood there instead of stepping aside so I could move forward. He told me he didn't see me. (It's dark, my lights were on, so not sure why he didn't see me.) I told him, "My lights should be able to be seen at 150 yards and I was only 25 feet away from you." Then he said, "Maybe you should get your headlights checked." I drove through the line, went inside, spoke to the manager, ordered my meal and left. I usually go to Chick-fil-A because of their respectful, superior customer service. This place has very friendly workers and usually have the food ready in a timely manner. However, sometimes there will be 10 people behind the counter and they'll be chit chatting while your food is sitting on the counter getting cold. Why does the person who packs the food just set it down on the counter next to them while your food just sits there waiting for someone else to grab it and give it to you. They hire alot of younger employees and some of them seem more interested in socializing then doing their job in a timely and efficient manner. The other day I actually saw a women walk out after already paying for her coffee because they took to long to hand it to her. She was frustrated because we were both standing there watching several people behind the counter chatting instead of getting the food out. Just my 2 cents hopefully it will be corrected.
