Joy Bar Coffee at EASTCHESTER DRIVE — Restaurant in High Point

My sister spoke very highly of this establishment. That says alot for a avid coffee drinker! She frequently visited and told me about the facility as we both LOVE coffee. Today she helped me out by taking me to work while my vehicle was being repaired and we made plans to stop for coffee. While on the way to the establishment, I watched her place two orders of the same drink for the main st location back to back. Upon arrival at the facility, she was told that one of the drinks was sent to the Eastchester location. She asked if they could transfer it to North main as Eastchester was out of our way. The "customer service rep" told her no they couldn't because the drink was already made. She called the Eastchester location upon getting back in the car and asked them to cancel the order and was told the drink was already made so there was no way to cancel the order. So you rather lose a potential longterm customer for a 8.00 drink? Bad first impression for me and I'll never go back! What makes the situation even more distasteful than what it initially was is that she literally ordered within seconds apart so how does one order go to one establishment and then the second mysteriously go to the other location? Sounds like the ordering system may need...

Wow, this place is simply outstanding! The creative flavors they offer, especially my absolute favorites—cinnamon Toast and Saltwater Cowboy—are an absolute treat! Honestly, it outshines most coffee spots around here. The customer service is outstanding as well! Whenever you walk in, someone greets you with a warm smile and a cheer, “Welcome to Joy Bar Coffee!”

The atmosphere is truly something special; it’s the place that makes you feel like part of a community. How could I resist as someone who loves supporting local businesses, especially small ones that foster unity and a sense of purpose? As seen in my photos, encouraging words are written on each lid, lifting up your spirit every time you drink! Kudos to whoever took the time to write these words!

If I had one suggestion to enhance the vibe even more, I would love to hear some ambient music playing in the background. But that’s just a tiny detail! Regardless, I’ll always return to this gem whenever I'm...

To preface, I love Joy Bar, their coffee, and what they stand for. This is why I care so much about my critique I am about to share. Just a few months ago I could get my typical coffee order (medium vanilla latte, extra shot, cold foam) for $7.47, which was a little steep anyway but I paid it because of the good quality. However, it’s almost like once Caribou showed up next door, my exact same coffee order came out to $8.01. Then just a few weeks later, also the exact same order, it came out to $8.54. You would think with Caribou next door, Joy Bar would lower their prices to be competitive. If anything, now I don’t frequent Joy Bar as much anymore because I’m just not comfortable spending close to $10 on a coffee. I love you guys but please please please make your prices...
