I came in on 4/19 to grab lunch after seeing a 4.8 star thought this would be great. It was not. A coworker and I ordered our food to-go and based on calculation determine we had been there about 40 minutes. So I went to the cashier and asked when it was going to be ready as it had been about 40 minutes and her response was “it’s been 27” to which I stated, that’s still too long for a to go lunch and then she says our call ins are an hour wait walk ins are at thirty. So where was this posted and when did you tell anyone that because it wasn’t posted anywhere and you sure didn’t say it to me when I was ordering. I still don’t understand why it took so long because the entire time we had been there some people left after eating but only one other person ordered to go and one other table sat down. So why did it take so long. Finally they finished our food and we took it and left. I get back to the office to eat it and there was a curly gray hair in it. Will not be coming back as the Caucasian older blonde cashier really was nasty and for no reason. Most people only get an hour for lunch so don’t be rude when a customer asks after 27 minutes even though I’m sure it was longer than that.
Edit to add a response to the owner: my name is Kristen. I’m not Karen and I’ve worked in plenty of food establishments and know exactly how they work. You clearly are unable to take the feedback provided and you were rude even my so sweet coworker agreed and was going to say something but I ended up asking before her. I did not say “where’s the food” I asked “any idea how much longer”. There’s also the fact that several other reviews posted mention hair being in the food and your only response to any negative review is “you’ve never eaten here, fake review” I didn’t eye down your kitchen staff I was looking at the desserts which looked phenomenal and the restaurant as I had never been. Please learn to handle critique as you clearly...
Read moreMy recent visit to Odeh left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated with the overall experience. The combination of a rude owner, overpriced food, and mishandled orders made for an unpleasant dining encounter that I would caution others against.
First and foremost, the owner’s behavior was far from satisfactory. I encountered a lack of professionalism and courtesy from the moment I entered the establishment. Their rude demeanor and dismissive attitude left me feeling unwelcome and unappreciated as a customer. It is disheartening to be treated with such disrespect, and it greatly impacted my perception of the restaurant.
Additionally, the pricing of the food at Odeh was exorbitant and unjustified. The menu items were significantly overpriced for the quality and portion sizes provided. This not only left a sour taste in my mouth but also made me question the value I received for the amount I paid. It is essential for a restaurant to offer fair pricing that aligns with the quality of the food they serve, and unfortunately, Odeh fell short in this regard.
Furthermore, my order was mishandled, adding to the already frustrating experience. Despite clearly communicating my specific order, an employee ended up bringing me the wrong dish. This misstep displayed a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for customer satisfaction. Such errors can greatly impact a customer’s dining experience and leave a lasting negative impression.
In conclusion, my visit to Odeh was marred by a rude owner, overpriced food, and mishandled orders. It is essential for any establishment to prioritize professionalism, fair pricing, and accuracy in fulfilling orders. Regrettably, Odeh failed to meet these expectations. I would strongly advise potential patrons to consider alternative dining options where they can expect better service, value for their money, and an overall more...
Read moreMy first visit to Odeh's was on a Sunday at opening time. The food was tasty and the service was great. HOWEVER lunch time during the week is the breaking point for this restaurant I feel. My friends and I went at lunch time on our break. Everyone at the table order appetizers/sides except for one person. We waited more than 45 minutes for our food. While the table next to us got their food and they were seated AFTER we ordered our food. There was no apology for our cold and late food. I asked to speak to the manager. While I was waiting one of my friends went to the register to pay and she overheard someone telling the manager l that we had only waited 20 min. So when the manager came to our table, he came with some aggression. We explained that we waited over 40 minutes for appetizers. He told us that there was nothing he could do it was the lunch rush. IF THEY CAN'T HANDLE THAT AMOUNT OF PEOPLE, then they should limit the amount of tables they have so that they can provide good service and warm food to their costumers, I feel. The manager offered us some tiny little dessert because OBVIOUSLY he could do nothing else as the manager. While it seems he is limited in his ability to manage this restaurant at lunchtime, the roof was leaking making a huge puddle of water on the floor. Clearly this restaurant needs help from the roof down. If you want to try this restaurant, go on a Sunday when they just open. If it's lunchtime during the week you may want to keep driving unless you have and hour an half for lunch. Oh and there was a 20% gratuity for 5 people or more. So we paid extra for bad service and cold food....
