Ma'Luz Mexican Grill (Mi Pueblo) — Restaurant in High Point

My friends and I visited last night December 9th. After we were seated and the waiter (Ricardo) came over the whole experience became horrible! He took our drink orders didn't greet us at all it was obvious he didn't want to serve us! He was slamming drinks on the table and storming off!!!! He took his time coming to check in to see what we needed. Was not attentive to us at all but was very attentive to everyone else in that section! One of my friends asked for a straw and he pointed to the straw paper on the table that was my other friends straw paper instead of just getting her a straw! He was talking to another waiter looking back at us laughing (nothing was funny) when he did bring things to the table never asked if we needed anything else. My Pepsi was flat so I asked for water and he brought another Pepsi that didn't taste any better. When he brought our receipts to the table he dropped them on the table instead of politely handing it to us! We have been here several times and never experienced such disgusting nasty rude service like we did tonight! I don't know what Ricardos issue was tonight but as someone who has worked with the public for years the service we received is absolutely not good for business and Ricardo really needs some training on customer service and RESPECT!! And obviously this has been a regular occurrence lately based off the reviews!! Customers are paying their hard earned money to enjoy a meal and in return getting rude service is disgusting !! Putting this at the top so everyone can see- THIS IS THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’VE RECEIVED IN YEARS. The food was also fantastic and fast, I don’t know what was better!

We went recently and right after our waters were delivered our rambunctious 7 month old grabbed and tipped one over. Within seconds there were multiple staff there with clean towels and offered one to my husband who caught all the water in his lap. No one made us feel embarrassed even though we were. Our waiter told us he was new but was very knowledgeable about the menu and made sure to tell us about the burrito special, which my husband got. I wish I could remember his name, he was so nice and even asked our kids name and interacted with him even after he spilled the water. We went on Memorial Day around 7:30pm. My husband had a taste of my quesabirra tacos and loved them so much he got an order to go for his lunch the next day. When we left an employee even opened the door for us. He looked like he was off shift and just happened to be walking by. The food is amazing and this type of customer service is hard to find now but they do it right. Server: Dulce E My wife and I dined at mi pueblo May 16th 2024. If I could give this place a 10 star review I would. I've worked in the restaurant industry for over a decade and I have a keen eye for detail. This restaurant has gotten every single detail that I would look for correct. The chips were placed as soon as we sat down and the seating was extremely comfortable to sit in. Our server Dulce E. was ready to take our drink order within 60 seconds of sitting down. Our server was extremely quick yet still calm. Our food came in less than 15 minutes, the plates were hot as it should be. Even the small details of the arm that should be used to serve entrees and clear dishes was correct. Our dessert was served on a room temperature plate which is also correct. You can't get this many details right without intentionally aiming for it, and my gosh they hit the target. My wife and I do not easily give out five stars however the food and customer service was so exemplary this restaurant deserves it! Well done to all the staff. Will be back again!
