My husband, 2 daughters (4 yrs & 9yrs) and I just left the restaurant highly disappointed and angry. When we decided to go we were excited, when we got to the restaurant and I walked in first the waitress only grabbed one menu I said "You know there are 4 of us right?" She stated I didn't see them. Mind you they were right behind/beside me. Like REALLY!! We sat down ordered our food everyone already seated had their food. Our children got theirs, however my husband and I didn't get our food until after all the new customers that walked in had ordered, and got their food. The waitress explanation was we have a new cook, I don't know what's going on back there. My husband and I are like isn't it your job to find out what's going on. Well anyway the food was horrible, it was bland, either under or over cooked, our daughter's plates could feed adults when we ordered them 2 children spaghetti plates. Take out.. large two item combination of oysters and catfish. Five minutes from walking out the door, I’m home and open the box and everything is cold. There’s about as many french fries in the box as you would get an a happy meal. Several Of the tiny hush puppies, 6 small and dry oysters and 2 small pieces of something that was NOT catfish! Oh and… don’t asked to fix them salt and pepper style. The cost for them to put salt and pepper on it is 1.50. And don’t bother asking for extra fries instead of slaw because they just can’t do that. But you can get an extra tartar sauce. Yep…. I am totally serious!!!!

I called to place our order ahead, and the young lady that answered the phone said please hold. I was on hold for 11 minutes driving almost to the restaurant. I hung up and called back hoping to order and just wait once I arrived. A young lady answered and said I need you to hold. I said, no I was just on hold for over 10 minutes. The young lady said, “so” very nonchalantly. I asked to speak to manager and she said, well you will have to wait. Then she hung up. I drove to the restaurant and spoke to the manager who was no help and the young lady stood there looking at me smiling. The people who are in charge of Skippers do not care how they treat their customers.
