*update 9.22 the attitude at this store should be studied. The fatigue is real. I literally have to ask them for a trenta cup every time. You don't give the option in the app, the cup is what .05 more expensive than the venti...only wasting more product. Just put the drink in a Trenta cup. I ordered my drink at the other location right down the street on Sunday. Mobile order no problems at all. Even put the kids strawberry frap into a Trenta cup which is amazing. See updated photo
The manager or supervisor with glasses is beyond rude and gives nasty attitude when ordering your drink with a Trenta Cup. When you ask them to make it correctly, i.e. this morning you get attitude. * If you made the drink correctly you wouldn't need to give attitude, nor would you have to waste a second cup.
My wife and I have been ordering the same drink for 15 years at least. 4 shots iced or 4shots long drip. We ask for a trenta cup so we can have the extra ice to help cool down the hot espresso, bc Starbucks likes to put a minimal amount of ice for scalding hot drinks. She deliberately goes out of her way to complain to us and tell us not to expect what we ask for.
My brother-in-law works for Starbucks in Maryland and they said it's not against company policy. Any other Starbucks I have ordered at online has no problem making the drink. Managers at the New Garden GSO and other Starbucks instructed us to put "trenta cup please" along with your name. Traveling all over the United States. Ordering this drink and no one ever complains or make an issue like she has.
Let's not mention it takes 20-25 minutes to get through the drive-thru on a Sunday later afternoon.
I personally was the executive chef of catering - Starbucks headquarters in Seattle And know they go above and beyond to make guests happy even if it's...
Read moreI had a horrible experience at this Starbucks this morning . I ordered on the app and it said it would be ready in 10mins . I got there after 15 mins . When I went to pick up my order inside my food was ready but not my drink . I didn’t think it was such as big deal to after 25 mins waiting and the same people when I got there was waiting as well .
I politely and I do mean politely ask the barista did he know when our drinks would be up ? I noticed he was more focused on the orders people were picking up in the bags . That’s when he caught a really unprofessional attitude with me and said it would be about 30 mins . Then he asked how long I’ve been waiting ? I told him 25 mins and he said loudly in front of a lot customers that I can wait 5 more minutes. I’m a Starbucks person and have NEVER seen and been treated like this in any of the establishments.
I wasn’t rude to him at all . I was just asking and im down staff at my job and I understand however this is not how we treat or talk to anyone. I stepped back after that and another customer asked if I was okay . I appreciated that since he embarrassed me . Once I received my drink I asked the other barista kindly could he warm up my croissant because it was cold and he said sure . I appreciated his kindness. He just gave me a whole new one and the young lady that brought it to me apologized for the wait . I told her thank you and walked out .
I’ve always looked at Starbucks as a happy place but now I know just for the kind service I’ll drive to the Palladium or Wendover when I live less than a mile...
Read moreStill gets 2 stars for standard friendliness, and product brand quality, but after about a dozen visits at this new location, I can say (with confidence) that cleanliness has declined and speed of service at this new location has really tanked.
Some of that is surely attributable to the lack of planning and forethought surrounding the traffic patterns at the new building (that's on you, corporate), but things here are slow and lack passion even when the place is not busy. That is all on the human element present at the time.
There is no hustle anymore...oh a few of the employees from the old location (whom I don't get to see most often) still have "it", but the new team members don't seem very excited to be here. Almost resistant to do any more than the one next to them.
Not much the employees can do about the traffic, but those faces are the last thing I (and everyone else) sees before we drive off. Considering the fact that I can buy an espresso machine and make it myself for a fraction of what it cost at your store, you'd think there'd be some interest in making sure we have a reason to come back. ...
