Upon arrival I was quickly greeted with the question of whether or not I had a reservation, I did not as nothing indicates that it is needed, & then seated. The decor, from what I saw, was like an art gallery while the exterior seemed more like a country restaurant. Service was very nice. The server, manager, & hostess all checked in with me to ensure the meal was fine, which it was. The house made wonton soup was tasty, the curry not as spicy as hoped, & the sushi roll was okay. Beyond that my drink was always kept filled. I felt prices were a little higher than needed to be but overall my experience was alright. The only odd thing, which may be a little oversharing, was that myself & other patriot burped for hours to follow after our meal. Note: Wait to be seated & Pay at the front

Food was definitely 5 ⭐'s. Very pricey for this style food although the food was delicious and the service was stellar but still I don't think worth the price. If you are from the area the price goes with the Highlands atmosphere like many other as it is a high priced area to begin with. The portions were large enough to share so if you're trying to save a dime that's how we did it. Still the food was delicious but if you get fried rice instead of white or brown rice it costs $2.50 extra for a seemingly small portion.

The exterior photos don't do Asia House justice--it's much more charming in person, both inside and out. Attractive landscaping enhances the curb appeal but doesn't show up in pics. We out-of-towners celebrated our 25th anniversary here with a lovely meal and attentive but unobtrusive service. Joyce is so personable that she made us feel welcome in spite of the fact that everyone else around us was obviously local. Eclectic regular menu options, plus extensive sushi choices ... you can't go wrong here!

I have never been treated so terribly in a restaurant before and I work in a restaurant and I know it can be hard but I would never treat customers like this. We’ve been here before and we ordered the same thing we have in the past so we thought we knew what to expect. To start things off, we knew the portions were large but we were okay with that because we had family at home we were taking some back to. So after we order the lady ask if we are sure because that’s a lot of food and she doesn’t recommend us getting that much food, we said we are aware but we planned on taking it home. She says okay and puts our orders in. So one of the things we ordered was a “Family” meal. We have gotten it in the past and it’s huge but when it was brought to us there was hardly enough to fill one person. So we asked about the portion size of it because we are paying $40 for something that’s supposed to feed more than one person. She said that was the normal “size” which we know it’s not because we have ordered it in the past. So then the second thing was I ordered sesame chicken and they brought me the wrong chicken and it didn’t even have sesame seeds on it. We were very upset and just chose to leave at that point because it was just 2 women, me and my mom. They weren’t giving us the same portions they were giving everyone else and they weren’t trying to be helpful in any way. We were wearing jeans and t-shirts because we have been working and we thought it would be nice to stop by and eat at a restaurant we enjoy, so we made a reservation. We were heavily judged the whole time, she kept Insinuating that we could not afford our bill. I would not recommend, I’ve never been so disappointed in a...

I decided to take my four kids here on a rainy day. It wasn’t my first choice but we went after much begging from my eldest who is 13. I also had my 5, 3 & 1 year old with me. Upon entry my son saw a fish tank and made an excited remark. A man whom I presume worked there became upset and told him he was on the phone. As we continued in, I could tell no one was happy to see us. My kids were being kids but nothing crazy. We quickly sat down and my 3 year old picked up the soy sauce and slightly spilled a teaspoon of sauce. Another lady who worked there gasped and yelled “the soy sauce!” It was a bit of an over reaction. I get it, some people don’t like kids but it’s not like this is a fancy restaurant. We didn’t feel welcome. Towards the end, they warmed up to us. My kids were well behaved and ate well. The food is basic Chinese food. My kung po shrimp was cold. The rolls were ok so I took my husband two home. In the end, they added an automatic 20% gratuity to my bill without telling me. I would have tipped that anyways so I didn’t say anything but I felt it was dishonest. I’d rather...

Presentation, Presentation, Friendly and Highlands reasonable. So this is what great Asian food tastes like! We had chicken w vegetables ($15), sweet n sour chicken (15) with sides of either white or brown rice. Loved the 2 Thai spring rolls (5). All great. The table next to us had sashimi dinner (27)...applause,applause in presentation...Everyone took pictures! Lovely that we could understand the staff. So special that the manager and other staff came by to see how we were doing. The water glass never was more than 1/4 empty. This pace is new and not even on TripAdvisor. Very sad. A.H. needs to post menu/prices on their website a.s.a.p. Up in these pricy mountains, one needs to check! Yes it was more than fast food but the grade of food was much much better. Beautiful bar and full service as well. Reservations weren't needed on a Monday...
