5 stars across the board! As a foodie who has lived many places and traveled extensively around the world, this is, in my opinion, the best and most authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. The service was impeccable and I was immediately greeted and taken care of by the owner, Ivan, and the entire staff. From beginning to end, the food was incredible. Everything is made in house and fresh from scratch. I kicked things off with a Gummy Bear Margarita (so, so good!). I also enjoyed Chips & Salsa with Cheese Dip to start. For my entree I ordered the Chicken Fajitas, and these were hands down some of the best fajitas I have ever had! Check out my pictures of all of the above and you'll see for yourself. I can't say enough about how good the food. The mix of flavors is mouth watering. I promise you cannot go wrong here. If you're in the Highlands area, and love Mexican food, definitely take the time to visit this restaurant. I promise you won't regret it and be sure to tell Ivan hello! Be sure to check...
Read moreLove this place! Great food and service. Servers are all very nice, and the food comes out very quickly. Usually not much of a wait time, but if there is, it is normally only about 15-20 minutes max. Portions are decently sized, and the overall quality of the food is good. It is always fresh, and I have had multiple different things from there. My favorite is the Los Vaqueros Tacos, but many others love their enchiladas. It is a go-to for my family and I, and anytime we are all together, we always go here to grab a bite. The atmosphere is welcoming, and while it is a bit cramped in there, you can still have conversations with people without it being too overwhelming and loud. Food is also fairly priced, especially in relation to other restaurants in Highlands. Overall, a personal favorite of mine. Definitely worth going and...
Read moreWe really enjoyed this restaurant. It felt like a family place with authentic tasting food. The salsa had an especially unique smoky flavor with some fruit in it, too. It was probably the best salsa I've ever had. Not too spicy or sweet. Just right.
My sister had a chicken burrito, which she finished because it was so delicious, but it was very filling! I had a veggie burrito with no dairy which I was able to get two servings out of. There were a lot of vegetables and they were cooked well, not too soft and not greasy at all. The rice was soft, fluffy and well-seasoned. The beans were served separately in a bowl with a light sauce.
For drinks we got a peach margarita and a classic mojito. They were both strong but good.
The restaurant was very clean well decorated abd the severs were attentive. We dined around 3 on a...
