My impossible burger meal was the temp as if it came out of the trash once finally delivered. I kept watching the tracking and right after my order was picked up the driver went totally the other way. I kept watching as he did other deliveries (confirmed by calling him). Before I called though I honestly didn’t think I was really going to get my food. I already knew it’d be another fail over it being a healthy temp to eat. Usually, if deliveries come that temp as if from the trash I usually trash it so I don’t get sick. I was soooo hungry this time I couldn’t trash it and not waste money. I always watch through my door for especially food deliveries. NO PPE on at all. Food delivery drivers are still food service and especially right now isn’t supposed to be without it. Their deliveries aren’t done by their own employees like appears on their app and bags even. They use door dash. I have no trust in Doordash after today. I looked up the phone number on the Burger King app to get the number to call Burger King over the order and delivery. Their number is disconnected and no longer in service. I already reported to Doordash and I’ll be reporting to Corporate of all Burger Kings as well since I can’t call the actual restaurant that did my order. Phone number is disconnected so can’t even call to get problems resolved! Don’t use this BK via online order, at least. I wouldn’t use door dash either, but wax connected with service. Not sure if he gave my order to someone else or not.
Update: Giving 4 stars cuz they tried to make it right. I had to drive over there though, as they’re phone numbers was inoperable. The food was hot this time. The burger seemed smaller than expected for that new big king. The wrapper said whopper jr on it as it did last time, but at least they put the condiments on right and xtra lettuce and tomatoes as requested and made sure it had the 2 patties vs just one and put bacon on it as I ordered it online. Since they went out of their way to try to correct the problem, I’m increasing my rating from a 1 star to a 4.
Today I ordered a couple things and got to the window and discovered my Debit card was lost. Tra was working drive thru and I apologized because I wouldnt be able to complete the sale today because I lost my card. He could tell I was genuine and without being asked he went to his manager and came back to let me know they understand everyone has bad days and wanted to make sure i still got to eat today and proceeded to give me my order even without payment. This was way above and beyond. I would never expect a place of business to still give me product or service when payment was not possible. So i wanted to make sure that everyone knew about the generosity of Burger King and the above and beyond customer service provided today by Tra. As a store manager i greatly appreciate the effort Tra put forth on my behalf without even a second of hesitation....
