Excellent soup and food every time I order from them. The one star is for one person that works there I am assuming one of the owners cause he's a middle age gentlemen and been there since I found the place. Also to note I work by and people at my work have shared they have had bad experiences with him before so I thought hey I guess my time will eventually come. So I call in the world most simple order in the world, bowl of soup and half a deli sand which. He immediately gets heated because I started off telling him what I want....a bowl of soup and half sand which...so after a rude comment where I think he refers to me as bro? (which is fine you can call me bro even if everything you say before it is super rude) He wanted to me to confirm I wanted a bowl of soup and then slowly transitioned to the sand which. thankfully we got the order completed in an unreasonable amount of time. He said it would be ready in 15 minutes and I said that's fine. I remember hanging up the phone and thinking I should really just no show, which I have never done before. But then I remembered all the other nice people that work there and thought it wouldn't be fair to them cause of there coworkers unfortunate attitude. I'm not saying every one needs to be nice all the time or even at all in the food industry, I'm just saying if you hate people maybe make an order form on line then you can cut out all the talking. Or if you actually want to know how to improve your customer service go in to any Starbucks and talk to there manager about it. The last thing I would suggest for Sour Sam is ask to go part time and use your spare time to spar at the UFC gym a couple...

This is a 3 star review because the food does taste quite good. We went to this place back when it was a sit down or take out place in Beaverton and loved it! I just discovered that it had this new location and was excited to come! However, there is no seating inside, it is mainly made for delivery and online pick up. I didn't realize this when we went. There was no menu to look at except for on the iPad that you place the order on. So, I placed our order and we proceeded to wait at least 30 minutes, it could have been a bit longer I didn't keep exact track of time. When we finally got the food we went to sit in the grass to eat and I realized my "bowl" of soup was the same size as the other "cups" of soup we had ordered. Inwent back to try to correct the situation and was told, that is the bowl size. I said "it looks the exact same" he proceeded to show me that on the bottom it lists one as 8oz and the other as 12 oz. After putting them down right next to each other my cup was maybe 2 millimeters taller than the other one, but they had the exact same circumference. There is no possible way one is 4 oz bigger than the other. There couldn't have been more than a Tablespoon of difference between the 2. So, I walked out, saying out loud "this is not worth the difference in price!" It was $13.95 for a half sandwich and cup of soup vs. $20.95 for a whole sandwich and bowl of soup! A $7 difference! Anyway, with the high cost and the wait times, I just can't go here again which is sad because it was really great when it was in Beaverton. Maybe they should try hiring a few more people so they can get...

I want to say, the customer service and the food is OUTSTANDING. I have given a 4* review because, while the food is DELICIOUS both times I’ve ordered so far, they’ve gotten my order wrong. First time I ordered I got a 1/2 soup 1/2 sandwich. The tuna melt was to die for. I ordered clam chowder and got something completely different. Not sure exactly it was. But I ate it because it was good. Today I ordered a BBQ pulled pork panini sandwich, and after picking up and getting to my destination, I bit into my sandwich only to find I got the BBQ chicken instead. I’m not one to waste food or make a stink over something, so I gladly finished my sandwich as, again, absolutely delicious. If the next time I order I get what I actually ordered I’d love to change this to a 5* review. I will definitely be ordering again tho.

update they earned the 5th star from me. Mike and Chris are great dudes who strive to make their product better and they sure have. 2nd time this week I had to stop in to get lunch because I couldn’t stop thinking of the roast beef and garlic panini. It’s a masterpiece...
