Read moreI didnt rate the store but I need anyone shopping at this location to know there are thieves waiting to steal your purse/wallet when you are shopping here - just hang on to your purse/wallet and be aware of your surroundings.
Two weeks ago someone stole my purse while it was on the cart while shopping and cleaned out my bank account and stole and used all the credit that was there on the cards.
I did see a man who didnt have a cart but was having few items in with him putting them back at different areas and thought it was strange yet I didn't imagin someone will steal my purse as I have shopped at Homegoods locations for years.
I was told to call the police and whoever the loss prevention/manager that was there wasnt interested to even look at the surveillance cameras saying they dont have access. A long story short to this day I have not heard back from the store. So basically when your purse and wallet is stolen you are on your own and this store took no responsibility to provide security or any assistance to atleast look at the surveillance immediately. That made me think who's side are they in? Why wouldn't you help your customer that lost all her identification cash and cards or atleast look at the cameras - thats there for that purpose isnt it? I will not shop at this location again - yet I want anyone going to this store to know there's a ring of thieves targetting the shoppers purses/wallets...
Read moreI love Homegoods. However, this Hillsboro location is the worst Homegoods I've ever been to! 1:30ish pm on a Thursday and they were unstocking items with boxes and racks in many of the aisles and it was difficult to shop. Stocking employees were going back and forth with large carts and baskets of stuff. There were abondoned carts in many of the aisles. I dont know if they were shopper abandoned or employee stock abandoned. Many shelves were so crammed full that not only couldn't you pull stuff out because other stuff might fall, but the items were sticking out and my own cart had a hard time getting thru. Then I stood 20 minutes in line to pay with only 3 checkstands open, and maybe 5 people in front of me. When I was within 1 person of getting to the front, one of the ladies closed her checkstand out. There were about 8-9 people behind me. Finally I go to check out, and as the guy is slowwwly putting 2 items in my bag, I had to ask if I could scan my card while he was doing that! So he stopped and hit the button so I could pay while he sooooo slowly continued putting 2 items in my bag đŤ . I will NEVER go back to this store. It was chaos and dirty. P.s. Homegoods, please sweep your floors where the shelves meet the floor, particularly in the...
