Horrible experience. Don't bother going to this McDonalds. I ordered and paid through the app and tried to pick up in the drive thru. I get to the store and they tell me they have no record of the order. The manager comes over. Same story. Then they punch a few more keys on their computer, and they finally find my order. Then they try to tell me it is not paid for. I tell them I paid through the app. They say they have no record of that. They make me pay with my card. But they don't include the "buy one sandwich get one for a penny" offer I had used in the app so they over charge me $3.35. I have to go inside to get the refund. They begrudgingly give me the refund. Very frustrating and very poorly handled by McDonalds staff. And of course I was in a hurry. Later I call McDonalds corporate to complain about the situation. I wait 10 min on hold. I explain what happened. They tell me I need to call a different number. They say if it had anything to do with the mobile app I have to call that department. I try to say that my complaint was more about the customer service at the store. She insists I call the other number. I call the other number, wait again on hold 10 min. There I finally get a nice and helpful person. He listened. Asked questions. Empathized. Entered in my complaint to his system. Promised me that I would get a call from someone higher up than the manager I already talked to at the store. He apologized over and over for my experience. He offered to send me in the mail coupons for free McDonalds food. He bent over backwards to be helpful. But this McDonalds location customer service was sorely lacking. And the "customer service" number's customer service was sorely lacking also. Get your act together McDonalds. In the past ten years McDonalds prices have doubled and customer service has gone way...
Read moreThis particular McDonalds, Iv never seen it too busy or too over crowded, which I consider a good thing. The womens bathroom, & dinning area, is generally well kept and clean looking. (I have no assessment of the men's bathroom) The staff seems to be too busy most the time, to notice that there are customers in the dinning area. They do not bother you if you do not flag them down at the counter. I met up with a freind there one time and we had alot to talk about!_ we accidentally sat there for 3.5 hrs and nobody said anything about it. Another time_ during the coldest wintery storm this year, I had brought my service dog in with me to get him and i out of the brutal weather conditions. I bought some food, an ice cream cone, n a cup of hot coffee. Although my dog 'Baby' is extremely well mannered, and never made a sound sitting on my feet under the table.. 45 mins went by before I found out that Service Dogs were not allowed in side McDonalds. And we were kicked out regardless of the winter weather advisory. I remember thinking, how unhunanitarianly thoughtless it was for the employees to decide to uphold the general corporate policy- (that was not specific to Service dogs or regular pets) and completely ignore the fact a serious weather advisory warning of frost bite would indeed put my Service Dog and myself at risk of permanent injury from below freezing temperatures and below freezing forcefully dangerous winds. To the employees of this location I say "Booooo!!" Two frozen...
Read moreCame here last night to order my son a happy meal in the lobby. They're doing some construction work but the lobby doors didnt have a sign nor were they locked. I came in to do my order and normally when I go in they havent always had the best customer service and they often forget an item or mess up my order. Bit I usually chop it up to them being young and lacking experience so it's no big deal, I've been there before. But this was a different level of rude and it was really upsetting to me. A young Latina gal in a pink employee shirt came to the front and rudely asked her coworker "why are they even in here?" And I chimed in and said that there was no sign saying the lobby was closed. She gave me some dirty looks and just stared at us. I have never felt more unwelcomed and was really upset about this. That is no way to treat a paying customer and she needs to work on her customer service skills. I get that it can be frustrating working for fast food, I've done it before too. But that is no reason to treat people like that. And to top it off they had forgotten another item in my order. I wish she had a name tag on so I could speak to her boss because she clearly needs to be better trained.
UPDATE:
THE MANAGER CALLED ME PERSONALLY AND APOLOGIZED AND INFORMED ME THAT SHE HAS BEEN SPOKEN TO ABOUT THE ISSUE AND EVEN OFFERED ME A FREE HAPPY MEAL TO...
