You need to do something with your baked scallop roll, or decrease the price for it. It's basically a California roll, but you put a couple of very small, tiny pieces of scallops on top of it and you make it look like a real scallop roll and charge like a real scallop roll. Don't do that, please. It needs to be a bigger piece of scallops without any cheap crab imitation meat. For salmon sushi, you use the last piece of the salmon, which is not suitable for sushi. If you don't have enough salmon, or any other fish that a customer orders, just tell the customer you don't have it, but don't use the last piece that really looks like the last piece of the entire salmon. You are the new guys. You have a lot of competition right next to you. Please respect your customers and make every piece of sushi as if you were making it for your Boss or his family. For now I will give you only 2 stars, but I will check it later with you, and if you fix the problems that I mentioned, I will fix my rating and will share it with my friends. For now, sorry, but you are far away...
Read moreStill one of the best Sushi establishments in the Pacific Northwest. I'm from Bellevue, WA and have been eating at Musashi (Seattle and Bellevue) for almost 15 years and counting. On a last minute trip to Portland, OR - we just so happened to be staying at a hotel next door to Musashi Hillsboro!
The service and quality still remains high, despite this location being 200 miles south of me. The quality of the sashimi, nigiri, rolls are excellent and fresh. The prices! That is what amazes me...while their competition is charging outrageous prices for a similar product, Musashi continues to maintain a high level of quality at an affordable price. I have yet to find another establishment that comes close.
Thank you Sushi Chef Kwang. Please to meet you and only good health and fortune for you and your family. My daughter says thank you "samchon" for the...
Read moreWalked in at 7pm on a Monday. There was one couple seated presumably enjoying their food. There was one employee behind the counter who said welcome in and then turned and resumed speaking to someone. I was not told to seat myself nor was I told where to sit. I sat at a random table and watched the employee that sort of greeted me continue her conversation for another 2 minutes. When it became clear that whatever she was talking about was more important than I, I got up and left. I understand that work requires communication, but as a customer, I expect a bit more than welcome in and nothing more.... Maybe a "hey, welcome in, please seat yourself, I'll be there in a moment", or something to...
