Cornell Creek Dog Park — Attraction in Hillsboro

My parents live in Hillsboro, and I went to visit them, and I brought my dogs along. I googled "dog park in Hillsboro" and this one popped up. I got in the car and used directions to get there. Upon arrival the park is placed along side a neighborhood and markets along Orenco area. The park has ZERO parking...like no lot at all!! Thinking I missed it, I circled the block and ended up in a private drive neighborhood with 24 hour towing for non approved vehicles. I ended up parking across the street at Sonrise Church. Once into the park, while fenced in, it's entirely gravel, with ZERO GRASS, and ZERO TOYS. It also has NO WATER for them. So basically it's an outdoor gravel pit, with no tables or chairs, just some dropped tree logs. To say the least this park sucks! First timer here today! My negative star is for parking, or lack of! What the heck?! I circled twice before finally parking a couple blocks away and walking through the apartments nearby to get to it, then literally lost my car trying to find the same way I came! I couldn't help but laugh how dumb this is to not have parking! ANYWAY, very small cute dog park. No grass, but that's a plus with all the rain we have had. Met a nice guy and his pup today and had a great chat. Definitely not busy, but would come back again! Great spot once I found my car again lol (Not a great pic due to only taking it to show my son later the cute pup our boy played...

Great place except for two things ... 1. The gravel instead of grass makes it hard to walk around in with the dogs...... And 2. The fact it closes at dark, cuz i work the late shift im not off work until 10pm, and when i get home if i want the dogs to sleep i gotta take em to the park... And i don't know what all the privileged folk around here think im doing but if i take the dogs to the park.... The second it starts to get dark everyone calls the cops reporting suspicious activity...... I don't know how dog walking is suspicious..... But all these POSs like to tell...
