MA - NOW THAI CUISINE — Restaurant in Hillsboro

Absolute trash, garbage ass service! Don't ever go to this place.... earlier today I ordered through my e-wallet ahead of time since I was super hungry and didnt want to wait on my food uppn arriving. When I got their i found out the items they put up online were not accurate and they never took the time to update their menu which they have full control and responsibility of doing so.

My Orange Chicken was never made and didnt have the courtesy to let me know before making the drive out there. I asked if i can simply replace with another plate of the same price since I was still charged the full amount despite my order not being completed.

Not only did they ignore my comments but they started talking in a difderent language laughing and acting like I wanted to get over on them with free food. I was showing them my receipt and balance which clearly showed i was charged. Once again they ignored and that point i had about 5 workers surroinding me and talking to each other in a difderent language laughing and some even giving me bad looks. A younger female about my age range got on the phone and called my bank to verify info that i already had confirmed. After about 20 minutes of trying to explain and feeling like i wasnt welcomed i gave up and told them to keep the money and left the building heated. I of course kept my cool and did the right thing, but promised to myself to never ever ever ever consider or recommend this place to nobody. It was my first time going to this place and first impressions is a basic and obvious rule of thumb for anybody involved in sales.

All I wanted was some food lol and have no reason to feel entitled to free food. Business is busimess I get it, but when service is beyond horrendous and nothing is done to understand a customer, it more than justifies a bad review!

On 28th of April 2023 evening time at around 8:40 pm we along with our 2 friends went there for dinner. The restaurant was almost empty. We have a daughter of 2 years age and our friends have a son who is 3 years old. The kids were having fun and excited and were singing and dancing. We were so happy that they were having fun. In the counter a lady was talking on the phone and she came and told us in rude tone that we had to make our kids quiet and she also told kids be quiet in an awful way. We said okay and told our kids to be quiet. We had already ordered the food. But we did not like the way she talked to us and we told her that was not an appropriate way to talk and she was even rude to the kids rolling her eyes and talking as if she was threatening them and we told her we are leaving as it was disheartening to even watch and listen to what she was doing and talking. In her language she said we are not good parents and haven’t taught our kids manner and the kids are disturbing other customers. She said she has kids but they have manners and we should teach them manners. The kids were singing and dancing how can that be manner less. If she thought they were loud, she could have said in a polite way. She questioned our parenting bad and at the same time told our kids bad. She is a mother as well and how can a mother be so ruthless and hurtful?! Why people in the world are so negative?! She ruined our evening and hurt us to the core when she said so hurtful things. We will never go there again but with her behavior, she was not even a bit regretful instead she told us to get out, we were already on our way. Manow Thai Cuisine is a favorite in our household, especially for my wife. We often order takeout from here for her dinner, and it never disappoints. The menu has a great selection of vegetarian dishes, and the flavors are consistently amazing.We usually go for the Fresh Rolls and either the Green, Yellow, or Red Curry with tofu. The Fresh Rolls are light and refreshing, packed with fresh veggies, and served with a delicious peanut sauce that adds the perfect nutty richness. The curry, regardless of which one you choose, is rich, creamy, and full of flavor, with the tofu perfectly absorbing the spices. Update: We recently ordered again with some specific dietary instructions (soft tofu, no fish or oyster sauce, no egg), and they absolutely nailed it. To our surprise, they even included tofu fresh rolls on the house — such a thoughtful gesture! It’s rare to find a place that not only gets the order right but goes the extra mile to make you feel appreciated. Their consistency, quality, and care for customers truly stand out.
