Walked in and asked to be sat at the bar and was told the bar was closed, so I asked if I could sit at a booth in the bar area and was told they have to sit me elsewhere (even though there was an empty booth with social distancing) I was then sat in an area with no one else, not an issue & was told my server would be right with me. Then the host came right back and said my server just walked in and will be right with me. I sat there and over heard the hostess say to my server "this one bites". I turned around and asked her if she was talking about me and she seemed nervous and said "what", I repeated myself knowing she knew what I said and I proceeded to walk out and she came up with something lame as to what she said to the server. Yes, I was not happy about where I was being sat but to say that about a customer is unacceptable! I know you are a large company with resturants all over the country (cause I frequent them when I travel) and 1 customer not happy with the service wont ruffle anyones feathers!
Why couldn't I sit at the bar booth? Why would I be sat in a section where there wasn't a server yet? Any even though a hostess might like a customer, why say something about the customer out loud so it is over heard? I spend a lot of time in Hobbs and won't be back to your resturant. I went down the street and this restaurant is packed where yours isn't...hmmm...
Read moreI went in and sat at the bar ordered a sweet tea and The Bourbon Street steak medium. They were busy they're always busy and it took about 35 minutes to get my food. When they set the food in front of me there was shrimp on the steak which I informed her I did not order shrimp and I do not eat shrimp. She apologized and said that's not how it is made then ask me if I was allergic to shrimp. I said no I do not have an allergy but I do not want a shrimp flavor in my food and I would appreciate a new meal. Now keep in mind that it took 35 minutes to get it originally. So less than a minute later after she removes the plate from in front of me another guy comes back and sets a plate in front of me with no shrimp. When the bartender walks back up I asked her if they just removed the shrimp instead of making me a new plate. She said I don't know let me get the manager. So the manager comes over and tells me they have no reason to lie to me what would be the incentive... To which I responded it took 35 minutes to cook the first steak and less than a minute to cook the second one? Your bartender asked me if I had a shellfish allergy and when I said no that was the green light to just wipe the shrimp off and bring it back. Read moreWe went for dinner Friday night and it was just terrible, lots of servers walking around and visiting but not taking care of customers, we waited 10 minutes for our servers to come ask about our drinks,then in about 5 minutes she came back to ask what we wanted to drink.we ordered our food the first time she came for the drink order,a different girl brought our food but didn't bring my salad,my husband said what about my wife's food,she said oh what salad I ordered a oriental chicken salad so when everyone else was finished eating here she comes i said naw can you just get our check ,oh and I had to go hunt down silverware and they had none clean so she tossed down plastic ,I had to hunt down the manager to get our check .It was terrible from the start to the finish the manager did take some off the bill and made my salad to go.We go there at least once a week but I will be rethinking that.The servers all walking around should be back washing silverware or helping other...
