Mojo Coffee Company — Restaurant in Hoboken

I really want to love Mojo - It’s a cute place and the staff are really friendly. But the drinks have been so hit and miss for me that I can’t handle the disappointment anymore. I’m not getting anything complicated: Large hot latte with skim, cinnamon on top. Last week I was given a small iced latte with cinnamon (which they graciously remade, to their credit). Today I was given a large hot latte, but when I took my first sip, my mouth was coated in the yuckiness of cinnamon syrup. I’ve also had several occasions where the milk wasn’t steamed enough, resulting in a soupy, lukewarm latte (yum).

Why do I keep going back, you ask? It’s the closest coffee shop to my apartment and when the drink is made properly, it’s great. But I think I’ll venture to the next coffee shop...

The person serving was very very unprofessional. We came in at 5:30, and we were unaware this was their closing time. He should have just asked us to leave if it was their closing time. But after we arrived, we made ourselves comfortable in the cafe, spent 5 minutes trying to decide what to buy, and finally placed the order. After serving the order he goes "I don't wanna be that guy but this is our closing time". How stupid is that? Make the sale and then ask the customers to leave. If you have to close, tell us as soon as we enter, not after we've made ourselves comfortable and you've made the sale. I pretty much hate this place now and will avoid it every time. Just go elsewhere, no dearth of...

Regulars here since it opened but had an experience to forget today. Order two hazelnut lattes and proceeded to wait over 15mins as other orders were completed, appreciate it was busy but you should be served in order of it being placed (at least for hot drinks). It's a bit annoying seeing others getting their hot drinks after you have ordered before them. Could see our coffee cups with expresso placed in them 10mins before milk was added. Finally got my order and it was cold. Took it back and credit to them they made me a new one but seemed shocked it was cold. No apologies for the wait or giving...
