Hoboken was missing an apothecary. This place takes me to the Netflix series, Schmidt’s Creek. You won’t find “David” but the owner is very kind and passionate about his business. My puppy, Lola, tagged along and she got a treat. The space itself is very unique. It invites you in. The store has an authentic and local feel - you have local and national products. It’s one of those stores that offers something so unique that you can’t find the same item online. The prices are reasonable. I got the cutest candle to offer as an impromptu gift to my bf today. This is the one place you will find an item for all sorts of occasions - everyday home, gifts, etc. One last thing: I love the name of the store, wicked. Wondering what David Schmidt would think of...

I was there at the grand opening. Great layout, decor was cool unlike any other candle stores i have been to. Owner really nice and friendly guy. Well spoken and professional. I asked for his expert opinion on what candle i should go for. He also pointed out that there was a section of MANLY candles and i was like 'thats awesome.' I don't want my place smelling like girly stuff. I bought two candles, evening bonfire and wood smoke. Very satisfied with my purchase. I also, like the +Plus wick innovation (impressive). I will be buying more candles from this again. Hopefully they will have more MANLY candles like 'sawdust' 'burnt tire...

I can't say enough positive things about Wicked Scents in Hoboken. This store is the GEM of Hoboken and they offer a fantastic selection of products that cater to a variety of needs. The staff and owner Miguel were incredibly friendly and approachable, and readily available to answer my questions and provide assistance. They made me feel so welcomed and valued as a customer. The candles at Wicked Scents are top tier and burn so cleanly, free from harsh chemicals. Wicked Scents is my go-to store for all my shopping needs for the holiday season and year round.
